I don't speak Arabic but when I watched that interview & listened to Bassem for the first time, I had a feeling that he is either Iraqi or Egyptian. Both have really gifted sense of humor and sharp mind together according to my experience ❤ Mashallah
I got to know him just yesterday and it because of the ongoing issues with Israel and Hamas/Palestine. I must say he is a brilliant man and a good comedian.
This is the only single good thing he made, not because he stood with the good cause but because it's personal otherwise all his acts shows how mediocre hypocrite liar dog of west he is.
i mean i did too, but if you investigate his history further you realise he just jokes about everyone, so everyone loves him and hates him at the same time. he speaks up for palestine but at the same time he ridiculed the government that would be standing up for palestine. what i mean basically is that he the biggest hypocrite, which doesnt mean that i dont see his current point of view as the right one.
Nahhh, it's the stupidy of people you can judge by the volume of their laughter. He and his fans are a very good example. All it takes make them laugh and you can put any sh$t you want in their heads.
I don't think the expression should be taken too literally. - It might also be about a comedian's freedom to express him/herself to the audience - and if a comedian can speak more freely to entertain or parody or satirise, and the audience is free to laugh at that representation, then you have more freedom of expression for the performer, the audience - and by extention - everyone in that society. I believe that is what he was trying to say.
@@user-ir8lw6vq3o Sadly, lot of people use the concept freedom of expression to spread hate and lies and the irony is that usually they are the one who don't accept it for themselves and sadly Bassem is one of them. For instance, if I say that you are stupid and a close minded person and someone who support criminals and believe media known for lies without thinking. How do you find that? freedom of expression!?
I support balance. - I don't support innacurate reporting, however I do believe that a free press is one of the pillars of democracy. - I wouldn't consider myself a closed-minded person. - I have experienced some interactions with my muslim neighbours. They appear to be model citizens. The husband is a town planner, and the daughters are well mannered university graduates with husbands of similar merit and temperament. I educate myself about past and current world affairs, with a particular interest in political and military history. - This is an open forum. Say what you like - but don't expect everyone to agree with you.
I m here after watching his latest interview with pierce Morgan two days ago I became his biggest fan my god he is a very good speaker with dark humour ...most savage and brutal answers made pierce speechless
@@unfiltered8407What points was he not “clear” on, Im happy to answer them since you’re too lazy to look them up. As for not going into them. You do know they don’t have unlimited time for interviews? Instead on focusing on just a single point, he touched multiple of them. Why? For people to do their own research, of course that doesn’t include people like you. No offence.
This man is amazing he stood up to idiots who gave Islam a bad name. They have no clue about the religion but he clearly does. He is kind, honest and caring that's part of what makes him a true and good Muslim and human.
it is sad to see a lot of egyptians cursing this guy. as an egyptian this guy is a fuckin legend and we need more people like him to come out and speak
@@tgamez6789 and how he did that, he is the only one who spoke the absolute Truth without fearing anyone or taking sides without anyone, he only spoke of freedom and equality and when he felt that his Life is in danger he HAD to flee away But I think Egyptians just like to be ruled by dictators who beat The shitt out of their asses and hate guys like bassem who asks for freedom and it's fuckin disgusting
yeah i loved this guy after the piers morgan interview, but if you research this further you will realise he mocked the leaders that were actually good for the country, the middle east and for egypt. then when a guy backed up by the americans and saudi arabia came (which never means something good), the country got even worse and he ridiculed that president. At the end what i try to say is that he is a peoples hero but at the same time also not because he just ridicules everyone even if that person is the best alternative. i mean no president is perfect in a chaotic country like egypt, but damn sisi is the worst and the guy before him at least had big dreams @@tgamez6789
@@lane0935 You can judge the true face of the USA by who can more effectively use the weapon of “cancel culture”. Who are the corporations afraid of? What do celebrities pretend to support (if they don’t really)? What is most commonly considered “good publicity”, and which actions or beliefs do public figures lie about? Which party wins the popular vote in more presidential elections? I think the answer to all that is more obvious than some will admit.
Thank you Egypt for kicking him out! Now he can heal the world!!!! Yeahhhhh! 🎉🎉🎉 Love from jhelum Punjab Pakistan 🇵🇰💕 Every country needs a Bassem Yousef! Until we grow our own- we can share yours❤
As a 65 year old guy, it's great to see younger people looking at both sides of the debate. - For so many years it's been 'Israel is righteous and powerful and good.' The Arabs have always been sucessfully portrayed in the media as the perpetual bad guys, even as Israeli bulldozers claim more of their land, and soldiers evict Palestinian people from their homes. Yes, Israelis are faithful and intelligent and industrious - but does that give them the right? - It's good to see both sides more evenly represented.
The first time appeared he was a double standards liberal clown, then he added the cowardice to his qualities. No, we don't miss him, maybe only "simple girls" like you!
