Yes but it is not the Bastille day but likely more the Unity Day that first came the 14 july 1791. Effectively it's not really false to say Bastille day but the national day was mainly created to celebrate the Unity / Confederacy day
I know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Amir Darwin i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Some lyrics from the French national anthem (la Marseillaise): "We shall water our furrows With their impure blood" ...and that was a pretty mild part of the anthem. Oh BTW, France launched a new nuclear attack submarine two days before Bastille Day, the Barracuda Class SSN Neffren. Six more of these subs to be built. France has a sales order book for 26 high tech submarines to foreign countries. Happy Bastille Day France....I don't think the world knows your other militaristic side.
Your comment shows your absence of understanding of French history and thus the anthem. The comment about blood or enemies does not refer to foreigners but people within France ... This song is a revolutionary music. The blood refers to the blue blood of the aristocracy trying to reassert control and reestablish the monarchy.
Anyone else find it bitterly ironic that Trump, of all presidents, was the one who happened to be in office for this celebration of international military alliances?
This is exactly what we need in the United States: a huge military parade with President Trump arriving just like Macron: in a military procession and all protocol being exactly observed!
Hey, this is the U.S. military. We regret to inform you that we currently all have "bone spurs" and will not be able to partake in Trump's egotistical Stalinistic shitshow. Still waiting on Trump to show up in formation, though. He's running about 50 years late and his haircut is way out of regs.
Usual protocol of courtesy to a visiting head of state, like him or not. Macron got the same in D.C., just in reverse order i.e., 'Marseillaise' first. (Besides, it WAS the centenary of the American 'Big Red One' Division's arrival in France - go back and look at the red-over-blue infantry division flag dipped by the US color guard.)

Should we remind some Americans that France helped America gain its independence, thanks to General Lafayette and General Archanbeau who commanded the French fleet in a decisive battle. America lost the Vietnam War and many other wars. In its history, France has won far more battles and wars than America. I love the US and I respect the Americans, but I can't stand the ignorance and criticism of some donkeys who think they are men.
@@alainlord5 don't worry, this hendrix boy is just some frustrated teenager who hasn't served in any force and thinks big of himself by posting nonsense on RU-vid.
