I normally NEVER like the background singers in the live lounge, not because they can't sing but because i find they often sing quite high which I personally don't really like and it tends to be a bit distracting, BUT i love them in this, everything about this video is just fucking beautiful

I think Bastille already know they have excellent singers there, so they make the whole composition thinking about that. Have you ever heard them in acapella? they are really amazing. (Sorry if I made a mistake about my "English", I'm from Mexico)
@@novas2905 I've def seen that cover but that was different...no? Dan sounded SO good and there was just ONE back up singer that I wish I could shake because she was not only way too loud but even worse, flat. But this right here is a choir and they sound good and Dan sounds so good and everyone else is just a hater :P
feel like the backup singers really don't fit that well. they have an undeniably good harmony and sound great together, but Dan's voice is so radically different it sounds like he's a little out of place in his own song I guess. they're also really powerful in the lyrics of the song that are supposed to be the most intimate parts, at least that's what I felt
The background mics were to loud, the harmony generally over powered his voice. And sense he already has a unique sound it’s almost as though their vocals force him out. This is a great addition if they just turned down the back up’s mics. It’s extremely well put together, just a little less boom and power from them and it’s fantastic!

Sorry but i think the ending is terrible. The back singers are literally screaming? And none of them are screaming is the same way haha, really dont like it. I did like them throughout the song though
The backing singers completely destroyed this, they were barely "backing" they're totally taking over. It doesn't work with Dan's voice and you can't even hear the harmonies of the rest of the band, heck, there are more close ups of the different backing singers than there is of the rest of the band members, which kinda sucked.
Felt like they kinda stole the show tbh. Seemed like there was more focus on them than the band. We don't get any close ups of the rest of the band until near the end, the rest is Dan or shots of the backing singers.
It's not like the choir are with them all the time or anything, I mean it's alright if you dont like them but they're not just going to go away like that. They just wanted to try something new and for people who like them it's a bloody huge gift honestly
