I just lost my friend suffering from the same terminal illness I have. I've been playing this on repeat. It's the only comfort I have, knowing he has no more bad days ahead of him. No more fights to fight, no more pain. I feel so alone now, but just knowing he's up in heaven with no more bad days is the only thing I can grasp to. He put up one hell of a fight. One day we'll both have no more bad days together.

So sorry for your loss. I think he's in a better place now. He will keep an eye on you and all who have been close to him. words can't describe the pain I know, I've been through it several times, all i can say is Time will heal, don't resist it, feel free to cry. I cried a lot, At that moment, I got it all out of me. Think about him, think about things you've done together. Keep it this way, he will live on forever with you. I wish you all the best.

I am sorry for your loss. And I am sorry for you. My wife has advanced MS. Its taking her away from me bit by bit. Im having a bad day with it. I have listened to this song about 40 times today and the Middle by Jimmy Eat World. She is so tough. She is worth the heartache. If this is the price to call her my wife for what short time we have left, I will gladly pay it. Most days Im ok, but today, I am on edge and Bastie is helping me cope. I have to be the rock she needs.

That was incredible! The fact that it tells a story about either a mother, sister or lover that seems to have maybe passed from cancer and he’s trying desperately to bring them back and recreate a moment in time they enjoyed before a dark twist where she falls is incredibly sad and genius at the same time. The woman died off breast cancer. It's the reason why Dan has created the "keep on running" merch and why he participats in marathons, to raise awareness and collect money to donate for cancer research.

Didn’t see it coming i would be crying in the middle of the night while listening to this song and watching the MV. I mean i just felt the desperation watching the MV of wanting to bring back someone you lost because maybe you are not ready but then the whole lyrics speaks about being positive about someone that is gone already. Maybe it is good coz finally they are able to rest.

Love how AGGRESSIVE Dan is when he sings "I ain't crying, that's you crying". The piano during the bridge is phenomenal. I love this. It resonates so much with me. To me, this is the most personal song I've heard by the band since World Gone Mad. It's fantastic.

I lost my dad 1 month ago to a brain tumor. After years battling diabetes, kidney failure and numerus of hospital visits. This song discribes the pain of losing him but feeling at ease. Thinking of him not having all those bad days anymore and finally having peace.

My mum died four years ago from cancer when I was nine, I’m obviously 13 now. It still feels like yesterday. This is the second Bastille video that I cried from, along with Happier, (obvious tear jerker, lol). I’m still in denial about the fact that my mother passed, and this video accurately depicted my emotions on what I’ve been hoping to happen. I love the Sci-fi incorporation with this as well. I miss my mother so much, and this song makes me think about her and the Good Grief (sorry, had to include that masterpiece,) that I’ve been having. I love you all, Bastille! Favourite band forever

My uncle just passed this morning after a battle with a demon named Covid. This song while amazing before his battle, has such a meaning to me now. Thank you Dan and Co. I really enjoyed this masterpiece and I feel a little identified since my grandpa passed away 14 years ago, 7 years later I decided study bionic engineering because I thought I could develop a project to try to mimic his personality, his voice and all the things that I miss about him. So happy for Bastille's success and Dan's evolution as an artist, director, and composer. They are incredible humans and I'm proud to be a fan these past 10 years. Seeing them again on September 7. This song/video is getting me through my cousin's end stage cancer. She's on home hospice and soon will have no more bad days. Hug your loved ones tight and never take a moment with them for granted. Can't wait for 2038 when they will be eligible for induction to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm putting it out into the universe David Lynch will induct them. ❤

I've watched this several times since yesterday when it premiered, and I can't get over how amazing both the song and video are. Bastille has been one of my fave bands for nearly a decade and I love all their videos, but this one and Glory are at the top for me. Congratulations Dan on your directorial debut - you did such a phenomenal job on this; the tone and lighting, the expressiveness and movement. The time lapse bit reminded me a little of Requiem for a Dream. The song itself hit hard, and I'm so sorry for your loss, Dan. The lyrics make me think of my mom, who passed away in 2008 following a 3 year battle with cancer. The piano break even reminds me of one of my first ever concerts when I went to see Bruce Hornsby with my dad. Absolutely stunning work, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album because everything off it so far has been fantastic.

Asombroso como siempre💜 Mi grupo favorito desde el 2013. Me acuerdo que la primera canción que escuché fue Flaws y quedé encantada con la voz de Dan y desde ese momento no he podido dejar de escuchar ninguna de sus canciones. no matter which song they release, every song, absolutely every song is an enrichment every time. either it triggers feelings of happiness, touches me tremendously or I can switch off and block out the world around me for a while! I love this creativity, these many details in all videos and their music so much ! Dan is really a genius "No bad days" is another incredible, sad song that I love ( how could it be any other way? ) Well done Bastille💜

i'd do anything to bring some people back. that weird thought of finality that you have to go through the rest of your life for potentially many years and experiencing lot's of things but never being able to see them again and talk to them is killing me. the emotions in the video are so perfectly portrayed.🤍

My grandma died from cancer when I was three years old, at the time I didn’t understand what was happening or that she would never come back. Now that I’m much older I can understand what happened, this song means a lot to me Dan love your songs!
