I am obsessed with Lewis. In a good way! 😂😂😂 I watch all his interviews because there is NOT one that is not funny AF! And I buy ALL HIS MUSIC! Loveee everything about this guy! ❤
Noticed that too! Some comedians and actors can't handle the spotlight being on other people (Will Smith didn't know what to do with himself when he was on Graham Norton!) but Jim doesn't seem to mind at all.
I met him at a local pub called the monster star in Belfast after he opened for the killers in 2019. He was just sitting at the bar talking to everyone that would walk by
David Potts David Potts the man who comments on all the posts being negative, what a depressing bastard you are 🤣 away down the shop for a 4 pack eh Tennents ya whopper
The fact that the audience stop clapping as soon as Graham Norton or his guests starts speaking, and that Graham doesn’t talk over them is insane, the respect shown to each other by audience and performers, shows exactly how a chat show should be conducted
Audiences on shows like this get a quick briefing what to do and what not to do. No visits to the loo when it’s on air, no talking to each other in the audience, no cell phones etc. etc. The audience stops clapping because they tell them to.
@@avacyn2000 I love how you see the word "awkward" and get all defensive. He's literally a down to earth guy from Scotland suddenly in the limelight of course he's gonna be nervous lol nothing wrong with it
@@avacyn2000 A few people have said already that while he is showing signs of nerves/awkwardness, at the same time you can see that he has confidence aswell
Jim could tell he was nervous and he did his best to make him feel comfortable. I mean, I know he genuinely liked Lewis and thought he was funny, but it's sweet to see how much attention he was giving him. And how he would chime in to sorta bring a few more laughs to Lewis's jokes. Empathy is just pouring out of him in this video
@@dogpackproductions3571that's a social grace that is truly lost on so many people in today's world. All the people in this thread saying he realized he wasn't as funny as Lewis don't have a clue what they're talking about. Jim was (and is) absolute class.
Like when he apologized to the pregnant woman snd jim had to try to tske it to fsr where norton told him to stop, i thought the swearing at her bellie wss rude of jim@bobbirobertson8828
i love how he seems like a little kid compared to all of them yet everyone is on the edge of their seats laughing their asses off when he tells his stories
I actually ran his second concert ever in the states, and his opening concert in his second tour in the states. Dude can work a crowd like nobody else. Such a damn good guy
He's amazing! I was in an airport of all places when I started to get woozy and not feel quite right. Lewis saw me and ran over, helped me to a chair, got me water and a snack from the shop and then sat with me for 20 minutes to make sure I was okay. the whole time he had me in stitches. I'll never forget him saying "i know I'm famous but you don't have to fake a fuckin illness to get me to come over and chat, just say 'hello'" he's just so funny and self deprecating while still being confident in his talent and remaining a genuinely compassionate person. LOVE HIM.
@@ashina5924 Canadians are American. They're on the continent of America, people from the US are not the only Americans. Just like the UK is in Europe, we are European.
I absolutely love his dark, self- bashing humour. It's right down my alley and his lovely accent makes it ten times better, it's gorgeous. And I LOVE that he's not afraid of the occasional swear word, it tells me he's genuine and actually saying what he's thinking and not feeding us politically correct bullshit like so many other dried up, stiff ass stars.
Usually this sort of humour stems from anxiety/nerves. Its a great way for people who are anxious to diffuse tension. I love this sort of humour its pure gold.
You know you're funny when professional comedians riff off your jokes you mean..Jim is just doing improv, as he should be, and I thought he did so tastefully and didn't pull too much focus
"It just gets worse and worse and worse... and then you die" Nothing makes me prouder to be Scottish than seeing our trademark pessimism on national telly. What a fucking lad this guy is.
Watching this now knowing he's got tourette's his energy makes a lot more sense. He's hilarious and charming, I'm so happy for him getting his diagnosis.
WE NEED LEWIS TO BE ON COUCH FOR A FULL 40 MINUTES. JUST IMAGINE THE LAUGHTER AND FUN EVERYONE WOULD HAVE WATCHING THAT. My face would hurt from smiling too much 😂❤️
I just have to admit I have a man crush on this guy 😂. It’s like he never intended to become famous and just works through it every day realizing he is. He is so genuine and fantastic
