can they please just rerecord the entire album using only their voices, a guitar, and the snapping and clapping and stomping? i'm addicted to these acoustic videos.
Am I the only one that thinks he has one of the best voices? There's not too many people that sound like this, they're for sure one of my favorite bands out there.
The litmus test of a great group is essentially reaching over and pulling the plug on a great song. If the song sounds even better then that's a great group.
I love Bastille's acoustic and acapella versions of their songs, it shows they can adapt to multiple mediums of music and are in sync with each other no matter what and create something beautiful. I tried doing the snap-step-clap rhythm and it is HARD to keep rhythm after a while, kudos to Woody! They're all fabulous!
One of the things I really love about Bastille is how genuine they are. Dan is my favourite singer because he is amazing without any fancy auto tune and stuff but he is just talented
.There is defiantly an extra special power when it is just the voices and hand clap and leg slap rhythm. Once those rhythms come in it just sends into a whole new level. For me its the undeniable power of the human to human thing. keep safe guys lovely music.
Another comment but this really shows that there is no trickery behind Dan's voice. Bastille definitely deserve to be were they are now and I'm sure they will have countless number ones on the charts through sheer hard work, persistence, talent and self belief
I love Bastille so much, there music is just so raw (not a bad thing) like, it's just music and guitars and clicking/clapping and I've found that they often sing about legends and myths, not sex and drugs as quite a lot of artists do now a days THANK YOU BASTILLE!
I laughed too much at the use of the word serendipity in the beginning. This band is truly amazing and talented. They're best work is either acoustic or live. They are just amazing, awesome and wonderful live. If you haven't gotten the chance to you should try. They're great! Hearing this song performed at the museum gave me the chills, due to the fact that I've studied Pompeii and Hercalenium for years and absolutely have become attached to the area.
Dan's voice was amazing. He really really can sing live. But av got to say the drummer. He proper had me saying wow. With no drums and he still made it sound fantastic. Well done mate. Truly well done
Hmm Well are you saying that you do not like this song and that you are agreeing with the other 251 people that gave this the thumbs down? I'm am sure that Avram and I are in the majority of those that appreciate this song and this acoustic version>
Andrew McMillan 100%. Amazing acoustic performance and unless the tune is linked with some deeply traumatic event in a person's life, I can't fathom why anyone would believe it to be less than stellar.
