You silly goose, she has definitely "rolled a few bats" before :). She was working that thing like a pro. Maybe she can come over show me some new rolling techniques. Then she can teach my girl her skills and afterwards take turns rolling my bat until it is fully broken in.

I actually went to training for baseball (retail setting ) and the bat will break in over time/use. Rolling the bat just speeds the process versus playing/practicing with it. My 2 cents

Rolling is a process that accelerates the break-in process of composite bats. Kinda the lazy way and can add about 40-50+ feet when you hit the ball. Which means the ball is going faster. That is why it is illegal.

For all you negative comment idiots, bat rolling is not cheating, just speeds up the break in process ! The bat was made to certain batted ball speed standards & nothing the rolling machine can do will change that !.. if its an Asa bat the standard is 98mph , rolling a bat will not make it hit 100mph, it just gets it to the manufacturer standards quicker without looking like it was left on the hwy during traffic hour ... your welcome...

i dont not think that, i was open my CF5 2013 and find alumium RING so stronger, that is for no elastic bed, no sweet pot. demarini made a big wall 6.5mm of composite material, in bbcor the shave is better.

Correct, it is sad that youth and adult sports has reached the point where this seems to be normal. Very sad. Lawsuit is feasible and how would the dad feel if his daughter got hurt in the field due to an illegal bat.

Its no different in rolling than putting 500 cuts on the bat, it just breaks the bat in faster. Shaving is bad yes, but the rule states that if the bat is swung or struck by anything other than a ball its deamed an altered bat, so,,,,,,, that means hitting your cleats, another bat, anything by definition, you can't prove rolling either.
