Thank you for watching the video. Bali is definitely better than Batam, but Batam is very easy to get to from Singapore. It’s a quick ferry ride and cheap. I liked certain things about Batam, I think it’s a great experience. Bali is better than Batam but the convenience of the distance from Batam to Singapore makes that side trip a lot easier than Bali. I would look at your flight options to Bali and if you can’t find anything that looks appealing with your time frame then Batam is a great back up plan.
Batam is 'not happening'. The service is subpar compared to the prices. For the same price you can get tons better goods and services in even laos. They are just too eager to make quick bucks while giving you less than what you pay for.
