I like coming out nollie heel than switch tre, by taking it slow you are letting your opponent warm up, create a harder and more unique warm up routine and you take bigger advantage of going first. The kid be beat today is tremendously talented and he didnt give him a chance to get going

Every time Nick landed a switch trick, he just continued rolling. Every time he landed a trick regular, he 180'd around the other direction, and it looks sus. Watch and see what I mean at 2:15 and 2:36. That's not how anyone I know rolls out when they land reg.

I mean no disrespect, honestly, but there are some superstar skaters that are out because of a very poor pairing setup in the first round. Johnny Giger, Nigel Houston, Chris Joslin etc, all gone because of a nasty pairing that could have gone either way. Watching this was a bit subpar and a good number of outed boarders are so much better.
