Thank you very much for simplifying the art of batch sewing. Love the swivel chair tip as i currently get up frequently to move between the sewing machine and the overlocker, which are both on the same table. I sew one item at a time and then return to the cutting table to cut another item. You've just saved me lots of frustrating hours in the sewing room . Great tips! When you find a way to do something faster or better- write it down! I write directly on the pattern instructions and make a note on the outside envelope. That way, I can remember the better/faster way to finish that garment the next time I sew it.
Always, sharing useful info, thank you. I just discovered “flat construction” (didn’t even know what to refer to it as) but it’s the only way I’ll put together my piece now, especially the sleeves.
Whenever I do a pattern for the first time, I always check, whether there's a sewing tutorial on RU-vid for it, because sometimes I don't understand the written instructions very well.
Thank you very much and thanks for this really important and necessary question. I have some good answers from experts in the comments section of this post instagram.com/p/CHjjT8ClqAc/?igshid=1gsi5a7mn9bwu I learnt a lot from them and I hope you find them useful
