I don't speak english too well, but i would love to learn do cocktels with you guys. I love drinksTube! I love you, Jamie Oliver! I love all of you guys!
I've always done that. Mimosas are also very good batched (leave the champagne for the moment you serve), mojitos and caipirinhas are excellent, margaritas are practically MADE for this, almost any kind of iced teas are amazing, even an old fashioned. And, of course, sangrias. There's quite a lot that can be done that way.
It's always interesting for me personally to try and make cocktails for guests, you say you should always test when you make it, that's the interesting part, I don't drink alcohol, never have, never will. Made a Black Russian and a Daiquiri for my mother and her friend last Saturday (it is Tuesday right now for us aussies) and they both loved it.
Can we get more videos with Rich? Maybe a how to make the cordial for the Ruby Gimlet? Last time I made the cordial it was the best I have made, but forgot to write down the quantities of the ingredients.
Great vid, more Rich Hunt please! Lol also, what drinks would you say also can be batch made, and what drinks would you say might not do well done batch made? This vid makes me feel like its summer already
Oliver Pascua These cocktails have high alcohol content and that lends itself well as they tend not to perish. Anything that has mixers tends not to work so well. Obviously anything with soda, tonic, ginger ale won't be great as you'll lose the effervescence.
Benedikt Franz You want to avoid making any cocktails with fresh ingredients in them like lime juice. These two work really well because they are primarily spirit based.
At first I read that as 'botched cocktail recipes' and thought I would get to see Jamie make faces at some truly horrible drinks. That could have been fun.
