Bates Motel was one hell of a show! I’m kinda glad that it stayed relatively under the radar so it could be our little secret/hidden gem. I’m not exactly why I’m so drawn to it, maybe it’s the acting or the story line, but there’s just something about it that I can’t put my finger on it. Sad that’s it’s ended, but it was fun watching it while it lasted
I find solace in that Norma basically died because her big fault was loving him so much that she refused to believe he was capable of certain things and she wanted to believe in him so much that it cost her her life. When she died, Norman eventually discovered what he wanted, the whole truth. For the short time after, it was his brother, the most loyal (non-Norma) person in his life that was there for him in the end, to send Norman to be away from the hurt and with his Mother like he'd always wanted. So it was really sad, but in the end, I feel like it turned out how it should have.
I love this show so I would say keep watching! The last season is when Norman turns into the Norman Bates we know from the movie Psycho, so things get very interesting on the last season :)
It was all the mothers fault for not getting him the help he needed there were clear signs of schizophrenia. Even before we found out he killed his father

If you loved the show, I highly recommend watching Psycho! The movie isn't the EXACT same as the show; the movie focuses more on after Norma's death & centers on Norman's psychopathology. Notice the age difference in the show and movie, my only guess is that the show is based on a whole new timeline unrelated to the movie, but utilizing similar concepts.

Everybody hates norman but i dknt get it why. I think whats happend cause norma. She didnt let norman free,she didnt permission to do things like his generation she almost locked him in house because she loved him so much and norman loved her so much. They loved each other for years. Then norma broke the rules and married with alex. Norman got insane and he should be i think. He has something wrong with him but if norma didnt act so close (like kissing on lips her own son) to norman he never gonna be like this insane
