i went there one time when i was really young (maybe 5 or 6) and this is the ONE thing i remember... i searched up guy with knife universal studios cuz for some reason i only remember this one part lol
I went on it last year and where I was sitting compared to his walking pace made him end up RIGHT next to me and I swear my heart beat faster than ever cause of fear but I loved it.
I remember being thrown on the tram tour when I was like 4 or 5 without having any explanation as to what the ride was about and it confused the hell outta me until i remembered it just now. This part scarred me as a kid but its pretty cool seeing it now
Saw the film again the other night. We went on this tour in 2012, were sitting near the back of the tram, and some Japanese tourists were terrified as I think they thought they were going to be actually stabbed!! Fantastic tour.
You know seeing Dr. Seuss' Whoville in the background really spoils your suspension of disbelief. Walt Disney would never let something like this happen at Disneyland.
I remember this was my fav part. I was like 4 or 5 and I would get a plastic knife from ikea and scare my parents when we get home by recreating the exact same thing. Since I didn’t have school, we would go around every two weeks. Good times… 🔪
I went on the tour just a few days ago it was a ton of fun! Definitely reccomend it especially if youre older ie. 18 plus, you can appreciate it more lol
As a kid like I was 6 or 7 at the time that man was the reason I was scared to back to universal studios because I was the only kid in the tram witnessing it and the second I saw him grab the knife my child brain got terrified and I guess it brought it to the mans attention and straight up booked it running to where I was sitting and boy did I scream like it was no tomorrow made everyone just awwed but god damn did I see my soul just slipped out
This is the only part I remember while on this ride, I don’t really remember the rest 😂 I also remember our tour guide was like crushing on Norman, even when he’s carrying the dead body. Telling that she’s scared while still crushing on him 💀
When going to Montana to do some camping...we use a tent for 2 - 3 days...then the wife wants a motel to shower up...we always go for the old ones that the sign says 'Color TV'...
The only time I went on this tour was in 1984 when I was four and hadn't even seen Psycho, Jaws or any of the movies on the tour really. Though there was a Battlestar Galactica part of tour in those days and I was a fan of the show so I still enjoyed it. Back To The Future was probably filming around that time but I'm guessing Courthouse Square was probably better known for To Kill A Mockingbird which I wouldn't have cared about at that age.
