Nobody noticed she was nursing the child as she worked 💕😂?? Its too unconscionable (for some ) to imagine mother's that nurse past the six month mark that you could think that's how she improvised and didn't just starve her baby. I'm so sure😊. She's obviously not providing a whole meal with the milk as it did when her baby was an infant but, it's *_working with what she has in the meantime_* to keep it moving and get it done/improvising for times sake. She didn't shift any priorities. She readjusted how she got her child supplemented❤.
I don’t know that anyone has made commentary about breastfeeding & how to/when to…. It was more that she’s so busy that she couldn’t just stop & nurse her for 10 minutes. I think people are concerned with the prioritization of working on the bathroom which was just basically being fluffed at that point over the child being secondary.
@@danielleS257the ppl making those comments maybe don’t have kids it’s not just 10 minutes and as a momma we learn how to make things work while taking care of our kids
@@ShayBelladonna a child her age should only take 10-20 minutes. Under 6 mos it can be 15-45 mins. And yes, we mommy’s learn to multitask but I suppose I look at multi tasking w/ children to be knowing to have a load of laundry in while you mop & call out spelling words. I wouldn’t want to eat while I was painting it otherwise decorating a project that I thought was going to be 24 hrs but as it were, she was already on the second day and the kids were home. It didn’t necessary to not take a short break and we can compromise that her daughter might eat a little more slowly (30 mins) so w/ the amount of work left it just didn’t seem necessary to nurse as many think she did vs. not feeding the kid. When either could have been done in 30 mins. I believe the thought was that it was more for effect “look at me, I have remodeled this bathroom alone, in 24 hrs” when she painted & changed the hardware which while it is work, isn’t really a situation where if you stop to feed your kid, you won’t be able to bathe, brush their teeth or use the toilet.
I can't. This is like a early 2000s wine mom suburban bathroom. I'm having bath and body work green apple, not me hiding from the MLM party in the bathroom- flashbacks
My sister and mom redid my bedroom when I was 6 or 7 into a pink and blue dolly room. It was one of the best gifts ever. Also, total respect for breastfeeding that baby. 🖤 The bathroom is so cool!
I thought I was bad on redoing my bathroom…I got over it and I have taken down light fixtures and everything…I hope to get back to it soon…you definitely gave me some motivation!!! Thanks
Colours are nice together, but not in a bathroom. You don’t want skin undertones (any skin tone) as the main colour in a bathroom or kitchen. Especially painting the entire vanity in coral pink. You want the bathroom to have colours that are found outdoors in nature that enhances the best natural light as possible. It’s going to be a nightmare to try and apply makeup in that bathroom
My bathroom (walls and ceiling) is Redend Point by SW and I love it! It’s so earthy and calming and perfect for a tub soak. I don’t do my make up in the bathroom so I wanted fireside cozy more than skin flattering. Guess it’s all about how you use a space. I like your color picks!
How has no one commented on the cabinet door that didn't get completely painted! Why do something if you aren't going to do it right? You can't just slap paint on cabinets. It will be peeling off soon.
Yeah… as a painter I understand that “anyone can paint” but there’s a right and wrong way to do something. 98% of DIYers paint incorrectly. The preparation is 80% of the work and makes a difference 5 years down the line when you want a different color. Those cabinets are gonna need a paint remover, which is pretty harsh on natural wood.
As a painter, I cried when you made the baseboards the same colour as the walls. Not to mention that brown is just too old and reminds me of every dark wall in cheap rental units. I don't mean to be harsh but when I see that kind of brown in the same room as a toilet, I can't help but want to compare my poop colour to the wall. I'd probably even turn it into a game to see what foods result in the best colour match.
Maybe pay attention and you’d notice the baby is literally feeding on her while she’s working. She was trying to explain why the baby is feeding on her during the video but everyone took it as her stating she’s not feeding the kid cause they can’t comprehend🤦🏼♀️
@grace8089 The kid is literally standing on the toilet AND WAY BEYOND THE AGE OF NEEDING JUST TITTY MILK FOR BREAKFAST!!! She should not be breastfeeding that child at that age anyway. That child is plenty old enough to not only be OFF the tit but the child needs be eating actual food.
It’s like she had no idea the toddler would wake while she pounded nails into the wall. It serves as bait for comments, a gamble as people will block her, or love her. She didn’t even have time to make it safe for the child, or her nipple. The worst of it is that videos of children breastfeeding is considered pornography to many and can be found on OF.
@@___LC___ Those women should be reported and the children removed, that’s vile, how is it legal!? Sorry I’m just completely shocked by that, just when I think the world couldn’t get anymore sick 🤮
For those talking about her feeding her baby. She brest feeds, I can tell I did too all 3 kids until they were almost two. Her saying she has to make it work, that's code for mommy works with boobs hanging out free while baby becomes a leech I have done it a lot too.
She didn't neglect her child y'all, she was breastfeeding in an awkward position while drilling 😂 That's why she had that awkward pause in "so we kind of just had to make... It work" Also the bathroom is really cute I like the monochrome vibe
I'm sure the baby got fed a bottle.. Amazing job you got this all done in pretty much one day. Would love to see the reveal of your daughters reaction.Hope you filmed it.👍👍👍
Good job ! I think this is great; first, that you decided to do the bathroom change for someone special and second, the color choices. My question is: what did you do to prep the cabinets before painting them? My cabinets are identical to these in the video and I would love to paint them. Thanks.
Idk if I'm biased because I have a tummy bug, but I'd hate brownish bathroom walls right now 😂😂 I also know that the colors may be lighter or different than what I see on my screen in real life
@@LANDE33no it doesn't, it looks like mud and ish. It's the girl's bathroom, and she's just another internet "mom" making unilateral decisions. The woman can't be bothered to stop for five minutes and feed her kid properly. He taste and parental priorities are beyond out of wack.
@@LANDE33that's true, but if it's the girl's space then it's a place they should feel safe and comfortable in. A lot of people, including me, need time adjusting to big changes, I would've hated if my parents did this when I was away for two days
@@alexandrapreston7283 where & when was she feeding her? She's not breast feeding if that's what you think. Doesn't matter either way. Would of been comforting tho if mom just chilled for a few to attend to her baby.
it honestly looked better before, the dark colors make the room look smaller and since bathrooms already have no light because most don’t have much windows, you would want to use lighter colors to give the effect of more natural light, but it still looks amazing!
You're very talented and clearly are willing to put in the work. I think it would have been better if you had kept the top part white and changed the bottom colour as it looks really dark and dated. Once you and your children are happy, that's all that matters ❤️
I'm not a fan of the colors, but I think it looks great! I like pastel colors in my brlathroom and those kind of colors in a living area. Love the accessories!
Not me coming to the comments bc I KNEW someone was gonna go wild bc they didn’t notice “make it work” meant baby was standing while watching you work & feeding. ♥️♥️ That’s a boss mom move right there!!
I had twin sons and a daughter while going to university full time. Now that’s a BOSS MOM throwing YOUR child 😜some food to eat standing in a newly painted room, to finish your RU-vid video To show the online community you have absolutely no eye for design or paint colors 🤣😘
@@AMYV3you do realise she’s doing what they want a good interior designer or decorator does what their customer wants regardless of their personal style or the style of people who do not live in the house.
Girl had enough time to film, edit, and do a voice over for a tik tok in the middle of this bathroom renovation or whatever, yet she couldn't take a few minutes to feed her child? Really showing some *great* parenting skills...
I almost didn’t understand at first that the daughter is BREASTFEEDING standing up while mom is drilling 😊❤ she’s saying since she didn’t have time to sit down & feed her, they’re making it work this way. Precious 💖
Baby is a toddler though and should have more than just breast milk at that age. Also that's kinda awful making your kid stand over the toilet to try to eat. I just think it is weird so many people talked about how awful it was to be forced to have to breastfeed in the bathroom rather than with there own proper covering and all that but now praising this girl for not prioritizing her child..
@@KayLoveDot “just breast milk” clearly she eats more than breast milk but it IS an amazing supplement at that age .. making her eat over the toilet ? Or allowing her to eat wherever & whenever she pleases ? If people feel forced to nurse in a bathroom then I feel sorry for them but clearly this mom is just giving her child what the child has asked for . That’s breast milk ! Lastly, I don’t know who is praising her but we sure as heck shouldn’t be shaming her & I sure do commend her . Other feeling the need to breastfeed in private it sad but has nothing to do with this 🤷♀️ but I mean haters gonna keep hatin
@@cassidylopez671 How is it so clear baby got more than breast milk!? Because she clearly said baby was hungry and she didn't have time to stop and feed her properly so she had to "make it work".. As in baby would get breast milk now and the rest of the nutrients baby needs would be later when it was more convenient to mom. So she had her hungry baby stand over the toilet and feed. I am breastfeeding 2 babies currently so I VERY MUCH know how important it is and all of the benefits that come along with it. But at that age they need solids too. That is not wherever and however baby wants to eat. Baby didn't ask to be fed like that! I can almost guarantee she would have NEVER chosen that on her own. Breastfeeding is very much a bonding and emotional experience for both mother and child. If necessary then multitasking can definitely be done obviously. But, if she had time to prioritize capturing this video and work on the walls over properly feeding her baby because she only cared about social media, doing this bathroom and making videos of it, then that's just pushing it a bit too far! I am not hating I am actually sympathetic towards the child. Just imagining how that hungry baby girl felt while trying to stay latched and feed while mama is more worried about the bathroom wall. Call me what you want. But I prioritize my children first ALWAYS! && I am not the only one who feels this way either. Also, I have never breastfed in the bathroom or felt forced to but I know you know what I am talking about. It is a huge deal and has been for many years. The big argument was "You wouldn't wanna eat in the bathroom by the toilet, why should my baby!?" && that's exactly what she is doing here and choosing to do so in her own home with many other possibilities, honestly for no good reason. So yes, it kinda does relate to this.
@@KayLoveDot first it’s clear that it’s a joke sweetie. She’s making a joke that they had to “make it work” if you don’t get it then I can’t help you . Second that comment is far too long to read the whole thing Third if you’re breastfeeding 2 babies yourself right now then why don’t you get out your head & stop being so judgmental, realize that every child/ mothers breastfeeding journey is different 🤷♀️ children done care where they breastfeed as long as they get nursed safely come on relax yourself. With me now breath in, slowly, now out , slowwww 🙄 good day to you ma’am
I love that I came to the comments and KNEW nonnursing people would accuse her of not feeding her baby! Lol I saw the baby latched and going at it, but I’m a 3X nurser and currently nursing my 2year old 😂 if you know, you know.
I recently moved into a house that still has the beige walls and ceilings from the 2000s. It was considered sheik then. I am desperately wanting to paint the ceiling white and the walls some other color. I feel like I live in a beige cave. I would not have chosen the colors she picked. No on painting the baseboards. I have painted out dated cabinets before, but it is a commitment. They take a lot of time. I wouldn’t do it on an impulse.
Nobody with a sane mind would apply dark colours in a small bathroom. The lighter palette worked as it is. If at all, it needed deep cleaning and plants and fun, easily replaceable accessories to add a pop of colour. I hate it when people start DIYing house projects just because they think they know better. Let me burst your bubble, no you don't!
Guys, everyone saying "You need to feed your baby. it's more important." She did feed the baby she was just saying she didn’t have time to stop, so she fed her while working.
Blue is a bathroom color, and green, thats why jungle or ocean bathrooms are such a big thing, they are just more comforting, and do great for the lighting
