Recently, when I was decluttering our bathroom, I kept in mind the possibility that I end up in the hospital and someone needs to pack a bag for me. My skin care is in one organizer, hair care is in another organizer, etc. This sounds like I’m a worry wart but actually it makes more sense for daily use. Also, after my grand babies were born, it dawned on me that it was easier to organize my makeup in a makeup travel bag. When I baby sit, it is usually at least a one night over stay. My makeup bag is a small organizer bag with a handle. I keep my overstock makeup in a larger professional makeup bag in my bedroom out of the way.
As I get older I am thinking this way too. My next project includes labeling a lot of things that I don't require labels for just on the off chance someone else has to come into my home and function. After helping my elderly parents out I realized how much I had recalled from previous visits that others new to my space would have now prior knowledge of. The last addition a caregiver needs is frustration finding the toothpaste! (or whatever items they need in the moment).
I might even make a video tour of my space showing all the ins and outs to share with future caregivers! I imagine Randi's husband really appreciates her channel in part for the documentation of where things are located!

After watching this it motivated me so much I cleaned out the 2 bathrooms threw out old towels threw out a ton of old makeup broken junk old rags it looks so good getting 3 organizers tomorrow I have those makeup towers and ordered me some of the heel protector😊 thankyou !😊
I dont wear make-up or paint my nails, so it always boggles my mind when I see how much people have. Everything in my bathroom fits in 2 small draws with lots of space left over. To each their own & whatever makes you happy. Your organisation is very lovely as usual.
Randi, Your so industrious to say the least! Watching you prep the cabinets for fresh contact paper definitely was a learning minute for me! Me personally I don't use contact paper. But I do use a roll of corrugated firm plastic from a roll I bought from Home Depot. I can easily wipe it clean as you can easily wipe down your contact paper! You both worked so hard to create such a lovely bathroom, good effort you two! Thank you so much for all the time you take to create videos and editing. ❤
This is my fix. My own bathroom is just a medicine cabinet, a larger wall cabinet and a pedestal sink (so no real storage). But I do love seeing how well you organize all the things. I am on the hunt for those little containers you use so appreciate your including links for whatever you use. you are definitely an influencer! I am planning on buying that Neutrogena body wash and doing the retrofit for the shampoo, conditioner and bodywash you showed in your previous video. I love that stuff and realized that I miss it.

I used white shelf liner (Rubbermaid brand) in my bathrooms so I can wipe it clean & remove easily. Previous owners of our home hadn’t lined the drawers or beneath any sink cabinets so the surfaces looked pretty shabby when we purchased the house. The liners make them look fresh & clean. I go thru our cabinets & declutter yearly (and take old medications to a local drugstore that provides a free, safe disposal service). Your remodel came out lovely-thanks for sharing!

I just bought a new vanity for my bath. Instead of putting contact paper down, I put a rubber dog food mat that has a lip around it so that if I have a water issue it doesn't go everywhere and ruin the vanity. I found one the exact size on Amazon.
I saw something like that in a yt video, it was a stiffer silicon and can hold several ounces of water and then the lip flexes so one can drain it into a bucket. Can you paste the amazon name here? I am sure others will want one. I always arrange my undersink area thinking not if there will be a leak but planning on there being one. Currently, I'm using a boot tray but it doesn't cover the entire space.

I would have just used a plastic liner rather than a peel and stick. Removable and easier to clean. Also you have a lot of backups(lotions, shampoos).If you just keep one extra, you'll have much more room. In this day and age when you can order on line or pick up another one when you run errands.

I have the metal organizers for underneath the sink. Just a note. I had a bottle of something leaked and it rusted the metal on the top. Only downside of having the metal.
How did you acquire your organizing skills? I enjoyed seeing you try different ways to put the bins inside your drawers to make the best use of space. You mentioned reusing some organization items. How do you find the right size bins for organizing a place the first time you start a new project?
I've learned to organize through a lot of trial and error. but the more I "try" to organize, the easier it gets. The only way to find the right size, is to measure the available space and look for containers that will fit. sometimes I find what I need right away, but other times it's like a treasure hunt. I noticed on your dryer that you have some dryer sheets in a container. Was wondering if that container was airtight and if it is where did you get that? I’m trying the new laundry sheets and I love them so far but I’ve heard that they dry out quickly and so I was thinking if I could find an airtight container to put them in that would be better. I also saw you all are going to get heavy rain in CA. Be safe. ❤
I keep the dryer sheets in an OXO pop container. they're pantry containers for flour and such. so they're air tight. Yes! We made it through the rain. Thank you so much!
