I don't think I was emotionally stable enough to take in the cuteness that is/was Flo just chilling in her cat sleeping bag and tiny pillow. I know this video is about the renovation and it's bloody gorgeous but come on, I need more FLO after that! You can't just leave a girl hanging 😂 😂 😂
I really respect how uncompromising you have been with your bathroom, you sourced the perfrct things for yoh even if it meant a bit of extra effort which I think is great, build yourself the home you deserve to enjoy! It looks beautiful x
Flo in the sleeping bag. My heart 🖤 also, the bathroom looks so, so lovely! As an architect I know the struggle of juggling aesthetics, budget and what is actually possible with a space and you really managed to make the most out of what you had to work with. Especially that tile combo - chef's kiss!
Gorgeous! It's neutral enough that you won't get tired of the colours, but not so neutral that it's boring. I particularly love the terrazzo tiles. I live by the ocean and it reminds me a bit of stones/sand, so it's definitely on my radar now as a tile choice for my own future bathroom renovations.
Absolutely loved seeing the transformation! Looks so great and can’t WAIT for the kitchen series once that project starts! Ps. Flo’s sleeping bag is EVERYTHING 🤍🤍
Beautiful bathroom! So happy for you ☺️ PRO TIP!! If you want to get rid of stubborn stickers, mix equal parts oil and baking soda and scrub away! Enjoy your amazing addition to your home xx
Fantastic job. My reno days are long behind me but watching your enthusiasm made me smile at the memories of it. My husband did all the renos in each home we lived in and he tried to do most of the work while I was out of Province for work. I hated the mess.
The bathroom looks amazing!! You did such a great job sourcing the items you wanted to make it your dream bathroom!! Absolutely loveeeee the floors. And Flo in her sleeping bag warms my silly little heart
You should be very proud Lucy, it’s darling. I’m inspired to give my neglected bathroom a deep clean and tidy! My top tip for a fellow decanter is to get a little funnel to minimise spillage. I use acetone (the stuff you take off gel nails with) to remove sticky label residue
I've loved seeing this transformation and the reality that you've brought to it all. You've shown that things can't be done in every way you dream, but that you have modify to fit the space (and still get a result you love). And you've also shown the reality of doing little bits at time, which isn't what we see on RU-vid most of the time! One thing that helped me with hanging pictures in my home was what I learned in grad school installing so many art shows. My prof was REALLY particular, but he taught me that the ideal height for a framed piece is for the center of image to be at 60' (5 feet) - give or take. Learning that has helped in deciding where to hang things SO many times over the years.
I've had all 3 of these videos on in the background while I was switching out my winter stuff to my summer stuff and honestly so satisfying to see your bathroom coming together! I'm so pleased for you!!!! I love how all the hardware matches??? Like it makes SO much difference and I always forget until I see someone doing it and I'm like "yes that is amazingly well coordinated" haha Also I think we have the wall tiles but in like Peacock teal/green (but its not called peacock but it should be) haha
Loved this! (You can get a hard water filter attachment for your shower, apparently it’s great for your hair too! Cult beauty stock them, but I’m sure other places do too) x
You are so good at decorating that it honestly blows my mind! I’m not skilled at all in this area and I appreciate how you just seem to have a knack for it. Also I love that bathroom rug. Nice job. 😍
This made me laugh, smile and gave all the feels. Just so lovely to see and hear your enthusiasm and how delighted you are with your first room reno, and so you should be! You did a great job and it looks beautiful. All the little bits you put in to finish it off which made it so you definitely made my heart happy. Lovely seeing your confidence growing. Keep smiling and keep being you. Much love x
I actually said wow out loud. Your bathroom looks so much bigger. It's so pretty. Am looking forward to seeing what you do with the kitchen. Great video. Amanda x. Ps thanks for the Fy discount code, I bought a rug x
Bathroom looks amazing. If I hadn't already ordered the tiles for our own bathroom renovation you'd have me reconsidering! Love the brushed bronze fittings - totally worth the extra effort in my opinion.
What a beautiful bathroom 😍 we're currently renovating ours and have a tinyyy bathroom. We've gone for brass and I feel your pain with the mirror shopping!! I gave up in the end because the prices were 🤯🤯🤯 you've made me very excited for ours to be finished though!
Your bathroom looks GORGEOUS! I love everything about it, major kudos on the selection of tiling, fixtures, styling, EVERYTHING! This is GENIUS and you, my girl, are inspirational for my own teeny tiny bathroom redux. FIVETY-FIVE-FIVELOO THOUSAND FRICKING STARS!!!
As soon as you showed the mirror I stalked your description box!! I’ve been trying to find a nice looking gold edged mirror that has storage. Will definitely keep an eye out on your insta. Fabulous bathroom!
This is why I should wait and comment at the end - was the pretty insta pic with the string bags on Kate spiers with her empties?? If not I think it might be a nicer way to store toilet rolls maybe?
The bathroom floor reminds me of the bathrooms at my parents house before they did a makeover a couple of years ago. I swear we used to have the exact same floor 😊 The bathroom looks absolutely gorgeous 😍
AHHHH U GUYS DID SUCH A WONDERFUL JOBBBBB also just curious-do u plan on changing the door knob to the bathroom? (lol kinda random) but if u do maybe match it with the gold/brass tones of the shower system!! i think it'd look nice :) just a suggestion! obvs do whatever u want
Everything looks so good!!! The point about water marks is so true. We have a glass separation in the bath and you just have to keep on top of drying it properly. Otherwise the hard water will ruin it.
Your new bathroom is beautiful and seems to fit your home perfectly! These videos of the bathroom renovation have not helped with the urge to redo mine but it will have to wait (it works and isn't that old just ugly). We made the kitchen our renovation priority as it was original from the 50's with bright orange cabinets and no space for a dishwasher and other awesome qualities from the time period that didn't make it best for a 20 smth living in 2020.
I was just thinking while watching this, I wondered if you'd be able to do a review of your bathroom since, if your cleaning hacks worked if things have worn well etc! If you would do anything different after living in it for 2 years :) x
Your bathroom is SO lovely. I love everything- the tiles , flooring and all the accessories. Really stunning. And can we talk about your cat in a sleeping bag.....😻😻😻
Finally! I could not wait to see. I confess this video gives me motivation as i'm too in the process of a bathroom renovation, it's in the beginning still and i'm going crazy already.
It turned out so lovely! I'm moving into a new flat in August after living back home for a bit and I cannot wait to get to designing and making it my own.
Honestly so happy for you with your new bathroom, it looks lovely. You should check out the folding lady on Instagram, she does all sorts of cool things with towels etc 😊🧡
