Just for the record, the rx7 in the sandtrap is actually being driven at that stage by brian nightingale. i know this because he is my dad and tony mulvihill is my god father :-D
Who does the fibreglass for these now? I forget the companies' name, but they used to advertise in Street Machine and Street Heat all the time in the 90's listing most if not all the fibreglass spoilers, airdams and skirts for the group C era cars. Reason I asl is I have an RX7 I want to do up, but I want the spa-bath style rear spoiler, 'cassette deck' style front air dam and side skirts... Can anybody remember the company's name??
@@dragbeast Allan Moffat #43 was a 13B. Gregg Hansford #42 was a 12A. They both had the same diff ratio and Hansford's car was faster down conrod due to the higher revs, but suffered down the mountain.
Don't get me wrong, I love the 80's and early 90's Bathurst races around Panorama with the RX-7's and R32's, but I still like V8 Supercars just fine as a driver's sport. To be frank, the R32's were too good. With V8 Supercars, like NASCAR on road courses, you get mostly the same cars against each other, and that means a much more exciting driver's sport (so long as you stay away from ovals). ;)
