What a great day we had with MALAYSIA TOURISM!
They organized a day trip around Kota Bharu to show us what Kelantan is all about. Kelantan is the centre of the Malay culture. From batik making, to wau bulan kite making, to pencak silat... you can find rich Malay arts and culture in Kelantan.
We started our trip in Kota Bharu where we enjoyed some traditional Kelantanese breakfast such as nasi tumpang, nasi dagang, nasi impit, and some Malay traditional kuih. After having our breakfast at Ayang Cafe, we head to a Keropok Lekor Factory at Koropok Cap Kapal. And then we visited Pantai Kundur which had several spots to see: a WW2 British Pillbox, Nami Island, and a Batik Making Factory. That's where we also stumbled a Malay Traditional Wedding Ceremony. It was nice road tripping across this area in Kelantan as we can see the simple kampung (village) life. Malaysia Tourism also brought us to a beautiful sand hill area at Pantai Mek Mas (Golden Lady Beach) and Pasir Belanda Resort.
We had fun touring Kelantan, visiting its top attractions and must visit places in Kelantan and Malaysia. We hope you enjoy "travelling with us".
