For me, BTAS Batman is the ultimate Batman. No live-action iteration has matched or surpassed it. I really liked Kilmer's Batman, and Bale's Batman was really good too even though I hated his voice. Keaton was good, even if a bit silly, and Clooney's wasn't that bad but definitely wasn't great.
Been watching so many of these and other interviews and he was such a kind passionate person loved his work loved the fans and is the only true Batman in my eyes so nice to see you doing the same thing kwing. ❤️ And yes Kevin was never playing Batman HE was Batman and always will be I can go on and on but I just wanna let you know nice seeing you doing the same thing us true bat fans are doing. 🦇❤️
Jim Lee with a Godzilla hat. Totally made me smile and made me think of meeting him for the first time at WonderCon 2012. I was wearing a Godzilla shirt and asked him to sign a few books and his eyes lit up and said "Wow, that's a nice shirt!". Just little things like that stick with us fans. Love Jim Lee, and Batman!
He seemed like such a cheerful person, everyone's super calm, meanwhile he looked so happy to be there Amazing guy, will miss his voice on the batman IP
Mask of the Phantasm shouldve been mentioned it was my favorite movie after the 89 film growing up. I was pretty disappointed by Returns so I would rewatch Phantasm until I got something else.
jeff peake Not to mention, he gave the most thoughtful, comprehensive and informative asnwers to pretty much every question. Other than Jim, he had more backround in the history of the comic book Batman than anyone on the panel.
Love how Conroy does the Batman voice in the interview. Bruce Timm's face-palm when Jim Lee says he gets tingly seeing Batman in the shower had me laughing hysterically. And, no offense to Kevin Smith because he's figgin' funny as heck, but I wish he would shut up and let Conroy and Timm talk every once and a while. We heard all of this stuff a million times on Comic Book Men. 18:38 Whoah! Everybody gave BB like triple the ovation as TAS. That's crazy. I never understood why a lot of people like it so much more than the original. I never could get into it that much. I don't like futuristic teenage Buffy-ized Batman that's not what Bruce Timm does. Jim Lee put it well about how Batman appeals to fans of all kinds and that they shape the ever-changing direction of his style. But man nobody gave two shits about what the Mark Hamill look-alike presenter said about the Dark Knight trilogy being art, and they didn't even clap when they put it up on the projector. **Sheesh**, people. BTW, they should have had Paul Dini on this panel, instead of Peter Girardi, maybe, because he didn't say much of anything (and, not to be rude, but I'm much more of a fan of Dini's work than anything Peter's been involved in). I was hoping to see on this video the part where they deny the rumors that Arkham Knight was postponed and that it was the sequel to Injustice that was scheduled for released in 2016, rather than Arkham Knight, but I suppose they edited it out to cover up for someone (perhaps one of the Kevins, hopefully not the Conroy one AGAIN) spilling the beans. LOL
The first actor to portray Batman in Live Action was Lewis G.Wilson the second actor to portray Batman in Live Action was Robert Lowery and the 3rd actor to portray Batman in Live Action was Adam West and the 4th actor to portray Batman in Live Action was Michael Keaton and the 5th actor to portray Batman in Live Action was Val Kilmer and the 6th actor to portray Batman in Live Action was George Clooney and the 7th and current actor who will portray Batman in Live Action in Superman Vs.Batman Movie by 2016 will be Ben Affleck so in conclusion Ben Affleck will be the 7th actor to portray Batman in Live Action.
dc needs to bring back animated shows like BTAS or Batman beyond, hell continue with terry in the future with the clown war or him with the justice league and have him gradually grow older
Christian Bale did really well on the Batman/Bruce Wayne acting. his voice was original and batmans origins is to use fear as his weapon, and in his case bats. plus bale is a professional drama actor.. drama is harder than action movies. Not just that but he is the modern batman actor and from that.. im pretty sure batfleck will look up to/ get inspiration from bales acting of batman as the modern days knows bale as batman
Talia Al Ghul is Not even shown on that Slide... If it wasn't for the Al Ghuls bringing Batman into the Global Stage you'd have the same old Gotham only stories... Oh wait you still do cause DC can't do anything aside from having the Cat everywhere. While treating a 43 year old character like a whipping post! And they skip the 70's when the Al Ghuls come into it.... Nice going DC good job at alienating those who loved the days when the Al Ghul's were written right by O'Niel. Seriously Talia Deserves her own book and own chances at Merchandising DC gives Wonder Woman, Harley, Ivy, and even Cat a crap ton of chances... What chances has DC EVER given to Talia... NONE aside from making her their whipping post!
Best Batman villain? I've always had a soft spot for the B:TAS revitalisation of Mr Freeze. Only profiting from crime so he can cure his terminally ill wife Nora. Hits me right in the feels.
Seriously they talk about All-Star Batman, and then don't mention that they haven't finished the Goddamn thing or if they are ever going to do so? We where promised the second final volume in February 2012 and since then they've been dead silent.
Bruce Timm ain't the only one looking forward to Batfleck. In 2012, Ben Affleck beat The Avengers. His movie had the higher Rotten Tomatoes score. He can do anything, including playing a cool Bruce Wayne/terrifyingly badass Batman. #nodisrespecttoBenAffleck
Dammit I wanted them to talk about the dark knight trilogy! Damn you batman 89....yeah it wasn't my batman...my batman can move around and doesn't kill :p
you know DC, it was Superman's 75th Anniversary last year. The world's first superhero. You did like one animated short to honour that, appalling double standards
you can look at different side. yes batman have 2 animated shorts but imo superman animated shorts is far better because it show the character evolution with iconic theme song from 1938 to modern era meanwhile batman animated shorts is good but it something missing
