@@vasquezelena85| In the "White Knight" comics, Joker has a reoccurring nightmare about Gotham finally deciding to just execute him. At first he's being his usual Joker self, intent on going out with a smile. Then, when he's being strapped into the chair, he sees Batman silently watching him from the observation window. And as the technicians go to pull the lever, Batman begins to laugh.
That moment in the animated series when Harley has him suspended over the piranha tank is my go to for whenever I need an example of Batman laughing. The laugh he does terrorizes poor Harley into damn near giving up then and there.
I guess it's unsettling because we never hear him even chuckle at puns, he ignores everyone's good graces and is broody. But here he laughs so whole-heartedly and loud, menacingly. Almost as if he's gone mad, evil.
Imagine if Suicide Squad KTJL had The Batman Who Laughs as the bad guy instead of Brainiac? That would have been WAY more interesting to see and would've allowed KC to give his own version of the Joker's voice. Shame he never got a chance to try something like that RIP you legend of a man
To be fair, Batman probably doesn’t die that quickly. He just dies from our perspective because nobody is coming to save Batman when he loses control of himself in the gas. You can tell Batman loses control when the grapple icon goes away and Batman just accepts his fate.
