+Ben Wasserman tbh I didn't, I remember the first screenshots of it and they looked fantastic, then they mentioned it would have mark hammil and kevin conroy, that's when I knew this would be something special
Croc:'' I will hunt you down. A toy collar won't stop me from killing you, Batman. I'll rip you apart. Eat your bones.'' Joker: ''That reminds me! I really need to get me some new shoes.'' lol 6:35
@@muhammetcavus6995 Crocodile skin shoes. Because Joker knows that Batman could kill Killer Croc. It’s a joke about how futile it is to try and kill Batman. Joker is basically saying ‘might as well get something out of Killer Crocs foolish attempt to kill Batman’.
ROFL "Oh it's my favorite show. I'm Warden Idiot, you'll never escape!" .... Hahahahahaha.... oh fuck. Joker. You rock my world. Calls 'em as he sees 'em.
When I was a teen and I played this game, Killer croc and his area scared the heck out of me. I would boot up the game, get to the sneaking part of the area and when I got caught he would scare the crud out of me. The death cutscene would play and I would be done for the day. Today, on November 8th, 2020, I finished the croc level and beat the game. I feel so dang proud of myself. I even had a big one person party, I had wine and some old new years eve party hats. It was about as fun as a one person party could be.
@@somedorkydude6483well he wrote Arkham asylum and Arkham asylum is before Arkham knight. So I don't think it's coincidence it's intentional Paulis Diner is a reference in Arkham knight to Arkham asylum, not the other way round
@@PLUTOXGOAT i should of been more clear. So paul left after arkham city. So everything from harleys revenge onwards was not paul dini. I say this because he didnt write arkham knight Doesnt make me right obviously but yeah i am wrong. Woops
Gotham has a somewhat limited weather pattern. It's either A: Rain and Thunderstorms or B: Snow (Although there are some sunny days and clear nights mixed in). I think the two prominent ones are for effects (ESPECIALLY rain and thunderstorms, very atmospheric).
Greg Moore well, that's the genious part....he didn't have to escape...it was all a trap...he let Bats catch him and was dropping hints that the security was already on pay role. "with all the new guards hows a guy supposed to escape?" "dontchu think is funny they transferred all my crew here?!" Joker was home the second they brought him through the door.
Man, I just realized, when he taunted Cash with "Tick tock, tick tock, is that a crocodile I hear?" he wasn't referring to Killer Croc! He's calling him Captain Hook!
When joker say at 1:05 that was a nod to Batman the animated series. Batman was committed in to an asylum and he says “ joker has a bomb” lol I love these Easter egg 🐣 🐣 🐣
I love this intro. The way that Arkham is just a bunch of open doorways with no super doorways just sets the atmosphere ADN a dangerous place for everyone. Plus the computer voice is great and sounds like an evil prison.
I remember playing this on my Xbox 360. I would pack my Xbox up and take it over to my dad's house on the weekends, getting stuck on missions was my biggest worry in the world. Good times haha! Wish I could go back.
My mind was so blown when I first played this game. Definitely gonna be up there with the greats up there. Killer Croc is so fucking scary in this game. Also I always laugh at the part of Joker choking the guard and saying, "we're losing him doc!"
Fun Fact: I know it is really hard to see but if you pause at the right time at around 0:31 you notice it is the same sign from Arkham Knight which is dinner at the beginning of the game.
I wanted to say: Thank you. I watched this 9 years ago and this sparked not only my love of the Arkham Series, but my love for gaming as a whole. It all got started cause of you, so, once again, from the bottom of my heart, thanks, man.
8:44 Guard: Our guest has arrived. Joker: *Glares at Batman* I just loved that part. If you use the first person camara mode and time just right you can literally see that Joker is glaring at the player of the game. That's a sign telling you that right after the next cutscene, it's about to go down. I especially like the menacing look in his eyes because when that guard said "Our guest has arrived", he is referring to Joker. But in Jokers perspective he is referring to Batman. Because Joker considers the asylum as his home and Batman is his guest.
IamJacksColon4 this kinda spoils the game, but In the end when Batman's in the back of truck going to the asylum to surrender to Scarecrow, the truck drove past the "Arkham Asylum" sign and then went through the gates, and it was the same shots as the firs Arkham game.
It’s really funny in the beginning when Batman is driving the joker and the joker says stand back fool I got a bomb oh right that just cracks me up so much it’s so hilarious lol
This is a pretty cool game of the batman series. I'm a PS3 game fan, this game is on my next game list. The Joker's voice is very funny, very scary, very laughable and the character very seductive, very psychopathic.
It's hard to believe that Batman Arkham Asylum 2 or Arkham City will be Mark Hamill's last time voicing the Joker ever. What a sad time that will be, but I'm assured that since it's his last time doing it. He'll go out with a bang... A big bang.... A really, big bang with millions laughing and crying.
Maybe it's not my favorite part of this trilogy, but the opening itself is one of the greatest of all time ,,Hundreds dying in shame and fear, All there lives coming to a horrifying conclusion, all thanks to you and a book of matches”
U dont need a ps3 u need a xbox or a ps3 its just that on the ps3 version u get to play as joker..but its not really that good playing as joker...his takedowns are funny though AND NO IM NOT STARTING A FLAME WAR ABOUT PS3 VS XBOX
@TheGameGuru1000 They actually managed to execute him in the electric chair back in 1942, and somehow he came back a week later, good as new! There's just no killing this clown! Unless of course, you kill Batman first, he can't seem to hold on to his persona without the Dark Knight.
overated so bad unless you look over the fact "that every guy you fight they all look the same ever damn one of them "and when you hit them they flop around like a rag doll ..and your in a dang crazy house the whole time...if they made it were u fight other people instead of the thing with aids..you know the thing big rocky looking..thats what you fight all the dang time..overated so bad.....
Okay, I'm working on a novel right now and need a bit of help. See that cart Joker is strapped to as they take him through the Asylum? What's that device called, because I can't seem to find it anywhere!
This video is still being processed. Video quality may improve once processing is complete. Vid was just uploaded like 30min ago. it takes youtube a good 2-3hrs to process my vids to HD.
5:20 What is interesting that the doctors and the guards may be scared of the joker when he says "Boo" but not the batman, he's had a lot of fights with the joker. and yes he doesn't flinch when the joker says "Boo"
It's not the death threat actually. It's the fact that killer croc has batman's scent so the joker thought the scent was actually from his shoes(maybe stepped in something)LOL. May not be right but that's what I think.
So picture this, here I am home alone at say 10PM and I had decided to replay Arkham Asylum. Everything's going fine, the intro is playing out and once I get to the scene where the power went out in the Elevator, at that exact moment the power goes off in my house. I'm just sitting there in complete darkness, alone sh*tting myself.
Just Think At How Obvious That A Fire At Black Gate Caused Hundreds Of My Crew To Be Moved Here??? How Sad It Was That They Didnt Get Caught In That Unfortunate Fire great line
@BionicleTV21 Not is there insane, they jusut get life or something...lol but for the Joker, if I was a judge, i'd make and exception lol but he's to badass to die!!!
I remember playing this when it came out when I was 9. I was staying at my Aunt and Uncle’s for the day and my dad worked close by so he went out of his way to drop it off so I could play it on my Uncle’s xbox. I didnt see the big deal at the time because super hero games were never that great imo. As I went through this intro, I became hooked and it was easily one of, if not the best games of my childhood. Because of this game, i had never built as much excitement for a game as I did for Arkham City.
