When I first played this game back in 2009 I was a huge Batman fan. I read Batman comic books a lot. I was skeptical of this game as most Batman games were garbage. When I saw this I knew this would be true to the comics.
I can imagine a fusion between Killer Croc and The Lizard in the Amalgam Universe. Waylon Connors: a Black scientist who tried to regrow his arm after losing it during combat in Afghanistan. He developed a serum that allowed him to regrow his arm but resulted in a skin condition that turned him into a reptilian hybrid of a Lizard and a Crocodile. He calls himself: The Reptile.
Samuel152 Not just Batman, Joker too. Probably because despite neither having any superpowers (by comic book, not real world standards) their accomplishments make them more than human. Hence, in a way, their capabilities put them above even metahumans like Croc.

This is what Killer Croc should have been like in suicide squad, not the Goombah from Super Mario Bros. He would have essentially been like an evil, animalistic version of the Hulk. Shame on you DC.

Well technically you never really fought him , did a lot of fancy baterang tosses to keep that walking nightmare at a distance. Still that area puts me in panic mode evertime, the game is amazing but some levels are just brutal.
Love Croc. He brings some pretty nice horror elements to the game: from this intro to jumping from platform to platform in his lair, not knowing when he's going to jump out at you from the waters below.

@@Godzilla-bo4jj Not to mention that he was born with a rare skin condition called Atavism making him genetically a throwback. It’s the same as two white parents having a black child the child is a throwback, because at some point in time one of their ancestors was black and that gene came out in the form of their child. So Croc’s ancestor might’ve either been a guy who suffered from this condition before or he’s related to a prehistoric crocodilian.

You'll be relieved to know that he isn't a hulking behemoth in every depiction like he is here, other versions make him a little more civilized and rational.

I remember being a kid seeing killer croc for the first time in this game and I was horr-i-fied. I remember immediately going into zoom mode to get a better look at the monster that the game would force me to face later on. And when I finally did I couldn’t be any more intimidated. This is the best killer croc in my opinion.
For me I remember him from the 90s cartoons and comics. The first time I saw the Arkhamverse verison I was like DAMN, this dude got huge lol 😆 But remembering the cartoon you also feel bad for him due to his upbringing.

This is the Croc we should have gotten in Suicide Squad. Unfortunately the one we got is the equivalent of the small skinny Venom we got in Spiderman 3
I just realize the attention to detail that as Killer Croc is coming up, the elevator is actually struggling to move up due to his sheer size and weight. Any other times it's moves normally because regular size people are in the elevator instead. Good detail, devs!
I like how croc threatens batman that he still wants to devour no matter for what cost while batman shows no fear towards him believing he will always be restrained like an animal.
Killer Croc is so scary in Asylum it sends chills down my spine everytime, I am doing a playthrough of all the 4 Batman games and when I fought him in the lair I was SO relieved when it was over.
The first time I played this I was legitimately scared haha. I was thinking bane is one problem but how the hell a. I gonna fight something that big???

Killer Croc should be on equal level to someone like Deathstroke. Batman always struggles fighting Deathstroke and even lost to him MULTIPLE TIMES. But Croc is constantly treated a joke and a jobber in DC.
Im laying in bed thinking about how this good at the start but then somebody says croc and i get flashbacks of when i use to collect comics he was someone that I thought was gonna appear like suicid squad bulk but ended up bigger. Ive only read comics about him. Yes im late to the game its covid season so i bought the game to see if they made big changes to batman

Croc isn't insane he's just a hybrid creature that was tortured and examen and experimented on to become a half crocodile half man killing machine if anything he's just a dangerous creature

I remember having anxiety this entire game. The idea that these characters are off here, just off screen freaked me out. As if I could get killed just by turning a corner. Best Atmosphere IMO
