I missed taking on thugs from specific factions like Penguin, Two-Face, Joker, etc in predator challenges. The militia have like no emotion when hunting them down one by one which kills my predatory mood.

Personally I like the Arkham city robin suit more. I think they should've either made that the costume you see in game or DLC, same goes for Nightwing. I also think there should be a red robin skin, and a story showing Tim take on the mantle of red robin. It'd be a nice touch

In the last round you need to get a combo going to destroy guns, shields etc. How do get a combo going when every single enemy is either electrified, holding a shield or a electric baton. Not only that, every single time you land one single punch, instantly there is a guy with a yellow or red counter coming at you. Just to make it a bit more impossible, the counter guys are practically instantaneous. You see a counter come up and they hit you within half a nano second.

Am I the only one that hates those massive guys? They're exactly the same as the armoured guys from City in terms of how you fight them, except bigger. They just kinda get in the way and don't make much sense in the Arkham Universe: they're not on titan or anything, they're just...big? People don't get that damn big

The big dudes are a great way to take out other enemies... do a beatdown on them until you get your combo meter full, jump away and take out a regular enemy (preferably a ninja), and repeat. You can end up taking out up to five enemies this way (three regular enemies from the method described, taking out the big dude, and having a full meter from the final beatdown on the big dude to take out one more enemy).

This combat challenge came out great! If only it had some of the normal thugs turning into Joker from time to time like some of the street thugs did during the main game as a result of the fear toxin. Infinite Jokers would have also been fun!

I missed when each character had their own dodge animation and nightwings the different but Batman & Robin's are identical... Little things like the beat down used to be with the actual weapon instead of barefist for robin and Night Wing.

In Arkham City, the beat down animation with the weapons was significantly slower and less efficient than batmans which is probably why they changed it

@@inthebeginning4751 coming at you years later to say red counters can trigger instantly and at random and can hit you even when you've been jumping for five minutes and found what looks like a perfect opening. And there's always the unreliable aiming targeting an electric enemy against your will. This challenge, and the free flow perfection one with four characters, are badly designed. The combat in these games has never been known for their flawlessness, and jank free nature, so making two achievements that ask you to fight against that are a bit crap. And jumping around for five minutes to look for an opening in not what I'd consider good game design. If that's how you have to achieve something, something has gone wrong.

If anyone is struggling with Batman, here's a method I discovered that really helped me. With the armoured guys, using the ultra batclaw slam (hold L2+triangle) will instantly take them down. This is preferable to the usual two combo takedowns needed. However if they have electric gloves or shields, you will have to disable them first (either REC gun for electric gloves, or an aerial atrack for the shield). Once you've disabled that, you can then use the ultra batclaw slam to instantly take them out. I had no idea this takedown was even possible before accidentally discovering it in the Iceberg Lounge. It even has its own awesome animation that I'd never seen before.

I like to think that this area is where he is at his peak strongest, because it obviously resonates with him since the beginning Bruce / Batman. Pain makes you stronger after all…

Well I got the predator based challenges in the community pack pretty easily (on the endless one, I got bored when I reached 72 and let the remaining militia kill me), but man, these combat ones are going to take some doing.

I wish after the fight, and getting perfect, the game would let you see bruces parents death site and let you pay your respects. And then when it was over you get the achievement just simply called (Batman) with the words ( We are Proud of you)

Nightwing is the worst If they gave him disarm and destroy combo move it would be a lot better I’ve spent the past 2 days and I left the big guys and 3 regular on last wave until stupid guy with gun shot me all because when I use bat claw it sims for everyone else except for the person about to shoot

those ninjas scare me the most for some reason when doing trophies like these, I usually just keep attacking enemies until a finisher is ready and try to use it on them because the game likes automatically finishing the enemies I wasn't going for, even if I was heading for the ninjas

I honestly hate these types of challenges because for some silly reason, I can never do the ground pound where Batman (or any other playable character) hops on top of the bad guys. He just slides over there and hits them, giving me less points. Shit is irritating.

you have to cape stun them three times or use the bat claw then cape stun to get them on the ground. Then the ground pound will work

Rojopojo Lin I just found out what my problem was. I didn't realize you had to tap the Y button and the right trigger (I have an Xbox One) rather than hold down the right trigger and press the Y button like in the previous Arkham games. Thanks again!!

The batman player got lucky as fuck as at least at 8 separate instances the cpu would have hit you as the lighting above the heads of the country (when to counter) stays lit you have not pressed the parry/block button so this is either really good editing or being the official arkham page probably has to do with a dev at rocksteady so they can cheese the system a bit

Im really stuck with Robin I evade as much as I can and sometimes I even can get to the fourth round without being it but some attacks of the enemies are just insanely or you can't even see the enemies who are attacking like the jumping monkey ninja that jumps of some wall outside your view or the shield guys playing on PC with mouse and keyboard Im already trying 5 fucking hours of this bullshit and I just don't want to do it anymore -.-

I only need this trophy and The Curtain Falls to get 100%. Great video btw, but this trophy and The Curtain Falls is way to difficult for me. I don't know if I should stick with 97% or keep trying as I did for Requiem for a Killer. It's not that easy to get help for these 2 trophies

Arkham fighting style to me is like reverse Thanos. A group of heroes with significant abilities vs. a single brawler villain that is capable of many abilities. Batman is a single brawler that knows many martial arts vs. a group of villains with significant abilities. I know Thanos is Marvel, but I wonder what would happen if he went against the Arkham thugs.

There were only 2 achivements left to complete the 100% and they were "chill in the air" and "curtain falls". I was one entire month trying it every day but it was bloody difficult. One year and a half later i ve made it both with all the characters using new tactics and moves. What are my feelings now? I really HATED these two fucking achievements but if you make them, that s the best reward for a gamer.

So, I went into this planning to get the Achievement first with Batman, then Robin, then Nightwing. ...After FIVE STRAIGHT DAYS of failing with Batman (45 minutes of tries per session, then give the console an hour to cool off, then try again, so I've failed HUNDREDS of times by now), over and over and over and over again, never once even making it past Round 3 and 4/5 times getting hit only in Round 2, I'm on the knife's edge of giving up and never having 100% completion.

+The Joker The ninja have evasive skills, so if you try to punch them and they step to the side or jump, your combo doesn't break unless you press strike more than once.
