In the Riddler's "Numeracy 101" puzzle room in Batman: Arkham Knight, if you manage to clip out of bounds using PC mods, you can find a Ratcatcher\Scarecrow early concept art and a hidden room.

2:20 The fact that the hallway not only exists but is hidden behind a wall makes me think that that room was where the riddler was originally going to hide and that's where the final fight/cutscene of batman knocking out the riddler would have been, although that probably seemed too anti-climactic to rocksteady, so the final mech fight was done. This is all just a guess, though.

Yeah, that would be just another cliche of Arkham City style with defeating The Riddler. At least The Riddler is only real boss fight in entire game. Too bad the ending wasn't like that with Scarecrow because he really did need a beatdown for all deaths he caused for years. WB Montreal should've worked on all bosses and Rocksteady the rest of it instead of them doing bland DLC's. Especially Jason Todd's DLC, worst among others when they reused BM's texture from Arkham Origins.

@@seebarino I guess they was referring to the writers if we want to be technical. In the comics it was Jason Todd who killed them both. Ratcatcher was trying to kill Hush, mistaking him for Bruce. Jason didn't know about Hush's face swap fiasco so he mistook Hush for Bruce too, and he wanted to be the one to kill Bruce, so he killed Ratcatcher. As for Bane, he was beating the shit out of Batman so Jason drove by the battle "stealing" Bane away and then he torched him.

I think it’s more so an early concept design of Scarecrow than a reference to the Ratcatcher. But I do have to admit it looks VERY similar. Also, I feel like I’m the only one that LOVES Ratcatcher. I have a thing for lesser known/dangerous members of Batman’s rogues gallery. That’s why I’ve got such a soft spot for Killer Moth. I really hope to see either of them in a game or movie one day!

Even there is one I found by coincidence that just requires u a very small step and u activate something hilarious At the orphanage when the riddler asks u to solve "?" riddle DON'T solve it instead try exiting and the riddler talks something after he finishes try exiting again This Easter egg only can be done once per playthrough that's why it is massively missed and u don't need to collect a single riddler trophy

The second room looks like the one behind Riddler when he broadcasts himself on the screens around Gotham (first happening after your first stealth encounter in Miagani Island), but the wallpaper looks different, so it maybe isn't the same.

Few things, One Ratctcher would have been awesome to see in game. As it stands we only see him in one Arkham comic. 2 I wish the in game model of Riddler had been the same as his cinematic. Those green goggles are bad ass. Way cooler than the glasses. Not that the glasses are bad

My guess for the secret room shown in this video it might’ve been like the secret Quincy sharpe room in Arkham asylum but was scraped due to changes before anything vital was added. It might also explain the rat catcher/ tv scarecrow found below the map. There might have been like a secret cutscene that would have involved scarecrow talking to Batman, but was only in the beginning stage hence why it’s only a drawing.

If I were to guess, i'd probably say that the room was at one point, where you'd go (After busting through the wall) to catch the Riddler from his "control station". But as they built out that riddler trophies I imagine they had long since shifted it toward that mech fight instead.

I think the room was supposed to be accessible at one point and the ratcatcher/scarecrow would pop on those TV screens and be an easter egg of itself but was scrapped leaving the room and textures to hopefully never be seen.

The Rat Catcher was in Arkham city but u never saw him because penguin dragged him out of the sewers and beat him to a pulp then dragged him to his museum with a huge trail of Rats not far behind
