I'm assuming batman used the scarecrows fear toxin and modified it somehow. i'm not sure how he spread it though. But his Batman so the math checks out
It turns out that Scarecrow's plan ended up working in Bruce's favor. Somehow he was able to modify his toxin to genetically influence the manic behavior of potential criminals. I can't think of a more logical retirement.

Don't really like that storyline for Suicide Squad. Cause then the public will look down on him for faking his death. Like what's the point of faking your death if you're going to tell everyone you're alive the next year LMAO. I think the original creators intended for him to remain in the shadows as a sort of Boogeyman. He'll let everyone do the talking of his existence. Cause a mystery is scarier than a dude who comes out there and tells everyone what he's about. The fear of the unknown is the greatest fear we as a species have
0:36 the way batman looks out on the city is almost like he’s saying goodbye to gotham and that perhaps in starting rivalries with supervillains caused more damage than good. especially with the arkham knight/redhood, perhaps he experienced that pain that lead him to take over gotham cause bruce left him to die.

Did you not see Nightmare Batman that's Bruce he faked his death because that's the same Nightmare Batman scarecrow sees that's Bruce Wayne at the end.
If the enemies forces in this game only had a woman with personality disorder and a normal pistol instead of giant brutes, giant brutes with gatling guns, highly trained soldiers with machine guns, automatic turrets, an army of almost indestructible tanks controlled by a super soldier, giant drones with heavy firepower, ninjas, a fear gas bomb and the former student of Batman who dedicaded his life to kill batman, than the future would have looked bleak for gotham
@@Marcus-Does-Piano Yes, shot in the head with an old revolver, like a dog, while sitting wounded on a park bench and after Harley gave a 2min long monologue about how Batman never achieved anything other than cause mental health problems for his poor enemies. I really can't recommend watching this scene. it's just sad what rocksteady has become thanks to _Sweet Baby Inc._ (you're welcome to look into this rabbithole). but I've heard that they are already planning to revive him in one of the next season (live service game) to milk the cow even longer🥴
Such a beautiful and emotional ending, robbed because it's locked behind a FUCKING 100%!!! NO game should be REQUIRED to 100% to get the full ending, especially not long open world games. Things like Riddler Trophies and Kotok seeds are only there so you have something to do after you complete all the good stuff. Suddenly I have a greater respect for Nintendo's anti-completion rewards, because at least THEY don't expect you to waste your time. Fuck this game, this ending alone brought it down to a 6/10.
Re-watched this by chance today and i completely missed this watching this scene when i completed Arkham Knight - in the Arkham-Verse Barbara and Tim marry? That's... new...
For those who don’t bother with Riddler, it is understandable why. His challenges are tedious and can be downright frustrating at times, especially when he’s mocking you for failing, but it is very satisfying punching the daylights out of him and beating him at his own game once again. And all that hard work really pays off, especially when Batman looks over the city for one last time, knowing that Gotham is safe and with the player knowing that they earned this ending.
As soon as I heard you had to collect riddler trophy's to get the complete ending, I said fuck this Im going to youtube. Waste my time with that bullshit when I can easily complete the game in my mind by watching the ending. We play these games just for story anyways and if we cant get what we need we just look it up and move on.
One of the ulockable costumes that didnt make it into the game is the Knightmare Batman suit, which foreshadowed Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League (a really somewhat dissapointing everyone has borderlands style gun damage game) Another suit was potentially batmans arkham origins suit without a mask, looks awesome honestly but not the iconic batman we know. I still think the arkham origins suit is the best arkham suit, one the live action movies should use. Im not sure what Bruce Wayne's plan was in the end of arkham, i think it could have opened up a Batman Beyond Arkham game/story with terry. But it appears they faked bruce waynes death.. could have faked Bruce's injuries to making him wheelchair bound allowing him to still be Batman in secret. This ending doesnt really make any sense if Batman was going to continue being Batman considering he completely revealed himself as Batman on camera. But it still could have opened up a Batman Beyond arkham storyline, where bruce clones himself after faking his death. Gotham Knights is a different story universe but it kind of seems like a alternative storyline to arkham batman. Then there's the suicide squad game which is allegedly the same timeline and universe as arkham knight which is... i have no opinion yet because i haven't seen the story but it does seem dissapointing. Really seems like rocksteady threw away the opportunity to potentially make a Batman beyond game, i wonder if theyll ever make another game series... could do a darker serious spiderman maybe spiderman Noir, could do a superman game or the justice league with the flash and wonderwoman, could even do a The Watchmen game. I suppose out of all the games they could do, id be most interested in a serious Spiderman Noir game or a The Watchmen game.... i just dont think anyone can make a better superman game than the "ehhh its alright" superman returns game... and the best flash game we have is a arkham knight mod... but seeing how arkham knight plays, they could definitely do well with a serious spiderman noir or a serious watchmen game. Rocksteady could probably do a lot. That pvp mode in arkham origins was successful, i imagine a rocksteady dc universe would be like a super-gta5 online.
It's open to interpretation. As per the Arkham Fandom wiki "Bruce Wayne, having faked his death, starts his career as a new vigilante in Gotham which the criminals dub the "Ghost", and later on being referred to as the Demon Bat."
Notice the floating stone/rubble around the burning Batman. That's the typical effect of Scarecrow's fear toxin in people's peripheral vision. Somehow Batman figured out how to precisely deploy it, and is continuing to protect the city essentially as "the ghost of Batman."
