This Batman seems much more human than the Arkham Asylum/ City Batman. I guess the standard Batman we usually see is many years into the future and he's more stoic and monotone, but I find this Batman more interesting. Some great scenes in this game.
The two first games from Arkhan Series had Paul Dini as a writer. Paul Dini, just the guy who wrote Batman Animated Series, Superman Animated Series, Justice League/Unlimited, Detective Comics, created Harley Quinn etc etc
Notice how they made him more angry and paranoid. He was also more sloppy than when first starting out. And instead of the comic suit he wears the big bulky armor because he isn't yet that professional. This is my favorite Arkham game. People rag on the Joker plot twist but it's a genuinely good plot twist that catches you off guard. The Arkham games are literally about the relationship between Batman and the Joker. I guess people just lost sight of that.
This game is awesome in just the fact that you can really see the anger and hatred in his young heart for evil, his outbreaks of just pure malice take the cake, especially in the cutscenes. I really wish they incorporated this into the other games but it just shows that he matured and is able to control himself.... I guess
I think you’re exactly right. It’s sad the emotions are drained from outward expression in the later years but he’s still got them. The way he stays for so long in crime alley, kneeling, and the way he calls Tim Jason sometimes. He even kisses Catwoman and Talia.
Why do video games develop better movies than the actual movies...thought provoking themes, consistent characterization, solid background stories that allow us to understand motivation, great music, and thrilling situations. The movies have to understand that small, grounded stories are the way to go. A movie that takes place in one night would be amazing.
They have more time, a video game has more time to tell it's story, they can be as long as they want, without having to worry about being to long for theatres
Well, that's a first usually people think video game stories are bad in general or bad in comparison to movies, shows, and books. I don't think the stories in video games are bad, but I do think stories told in other mediums have the capability or have shown to be much better. Nonetheless, there are some great stories in a lot of games.
Fun Fact : Deathstroke AKA Slade Wilson, is as known as 'The Terminator', so at @17:00 you hear the soundtrack shifting to a Treble-Metallic score, how unlike a [killing] machine sounds
I’ve said it since day one; this game should have just been a Dc comics animated movie. These cut scenes are phenomenal and are better than rocksteadys imo. But the game as a whole doesn’t have nearly the high quality and focus of rocksteadys trilogy.
I disagree, this does not match up with rocksteadys imo. I mean look at the remastered Arkham Asylum and Arkham City the graphics look perfect. Even in the original version the graphics are still better than this. And look at Arkham Knight, now you cannot tell me these graphics are better than the Arkham Knight graphics those graphics are absolutely amazing.
I was heavily invested in Origins’ Story more than City’s. Don’t get me wrong, Arkham City’s story is good but the dialogue, character development and plot in Origins is something else. Something that Rocksteady needs to focus on.
@@sussygussy5457 I also like that it was a young Bruce Wayne who had little to no experience, which gave the game a whole new aspect to me. I respect your opinion.
Well, Batman is still a rumor at this point, hasn't been caught speaking on tape and criminals likely aren't able to hear his voice clearly while their ears are ringing.
cause it's a comic. In actuality it's pretty easy to figure out who a super hero is. I mean take Batman. You can tell he's male. He's white. And he's either rich himself or has access to $$$ and tech. That narrows down the field alot. Combine that with the fact that Batman/Bruce lives in a world of high tech and super powers and magic, it would be pretty easy to figure out who he is. Same holds true for Superman. When the plot calls for it, characters discover who they are really fast. Batman for instance has discovered Superman's identity by doing nothing more than tracking Superman's flight patters with satellites. He just tracked where the flights often end or begin, noticed they the 2 points where at the Daily Planet and an apartment building and presto, deduced he was Clark Kent.
Arkham Origins is such a cool game. I think the fact that it came after City is what let people to call it a bad game, 'cus dint reach the hype but even Knight had the same problem. But the boss battles, the gadgets and suit is so fucking cool in this game
I have Batman Arkham Origins on PS3 one of the best ever I loved the cutscenes to it, and the guy who was behind the voice of the joker sounded exactly like Mark Hamill.
Batman: gives you massive cranial bleeding, breaks your spine and beats the fuck out of you, like he kills your desire to reproduce. Also Batman: NOW TALK
Did not like this game when i first played it mainly coz of being mislead on who was the main villain at the time i had enough of joker and wanted someone else. But now this is probably my favourite arkham game. Love the batman voice. The 2 things that lets it down is the map and the use of the assassins. but the story and cut scenes are so good you can ignore it
So is Joker trying to get revenge on Batman for throwing him into the chemicals? I like the comedian part, that was a nice touch. I can't imagine this Joker being a stand-up comedian.
This is a very unpopular opinion, but I actually like Troy Baker's Joker voice more than Mark Hamill's, and prefer it. His Joker voice is phenomenal, and ridiculously underrated.
@@gameplayz5174 Finally! Someone who agrees! Don't get me wrong, I love Mark Hamill's Joker voice, it's iconic, and memorable, but there's something about Troy Baker's that just makes me prefer it. I can't really exactly put my finger on it, I just know I like it so much more.
This Batman game is so much cooler than Arkham city game, but I gotta say this person behind the voice of Batman was awesome no offense to the late great Kevin Conroy who's a legend as Batman behind the voice. I still have this game on PS3, since Christmas back in 2016 I love the cutscenes to this when I look at it it's like a movie. 🔥🔥💯
I remember played this years ago I always had so much fun, the story and everything, Batman was so brutal and everything was just so much fun!! One ofvthe best games I’ve ever played!
this is better. i only keep this video up because i can no longer replicate the views i used to get ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bM4FOwmFK3I.html&ab_channel=Y2JArmyofficial
Is it me or this Batman feels more human, he’s got more expression during this story like he’s still learning about being Batman, he still make small mistakes and a bit of struggles here and there, like for example in the loose lips interrogation, he choked the guy so hard he passed out and Bruce was like damn. From Arkham asylum to Arkham knight he feels like focused and every challenge get’s thrown at him he still calm and rarely makes mistakes now. Well it’s called origins after all
This is my favorite game out of the series and the music makes it so good along with the dialogue and situations its a beautiful game and I love it I love the other ones to just this was one of the first ones I played after asylum this whole franchise has a special place in my heart and will forever be my favorite video game(s)
i remember the deathstroke part the most cause i ended up killing him instead of it going to the cut scene he just died and i got stuck and had to redo it but it felt good cause i lost at least 30 times
I don't know why this game got so much hate, because the developers who made the last two didn't work on this isnt a good reason especially when this game was far better the Arkham city
im currently redoing this for the pc, looking back around 10 years ago uplouding in 720p was ok at the time but im redoing this on pc max settings on a rtx 3080 laptop i9 4k. im only 1/4 of the way done but i will hope you can give the better version a chance
Mannn....this is my fave arkham game, and i didnt get the hate towards this game just cause was not made by rocksteady?its criminaly underrated....and we all know the main voices for batman and joker belong too but both in here are great too, also a little bit improvement in action sequences ,better arkahm bosses, really love gotham winter snowing, batwing for fast travel love also this ost, magnific i say and a good story....
My only complaint so far is that you skipped the cutscene where batman kicks electrocutioner in the face, and that in the scene where Barbra meets Batman the audio isn't synced up with the visuals like it should be in fact this seems to happen with a few scenes
I had this on the Wii U. The potential of the gamepad was wasted but I understand. Aside from the "Mario's" and the "Zelda's", nothing on the Wii U hit hard.
i also have arkham asylum and arkham city remaster all cutscenes in 1 vid in 1080p ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lozO3UiIZaI.html&ab_channel=Y2JArmyofficial
This was not a bad game by any means but it just did not feel like an Arkham game to me, like I definitely cannot see this Batman or the this batverse at all eventually turning into what we see in the rocksteady games
