Apollo Gaming Deathstroke had the best boss fight in this game. Sad it was so early and then no other good ones really happened

@Light I agree with your list, but Arkham Knight is just bad from a story pov. The gameplay is pretty good, but it's just more of the same from the last 3 games.

Daxtro mostly to fix some of the bugs. Not really game breaking just a little annoying. Some of the character models just look odd too.

Actually it's quite possible for you to lose this fight if you're playing this on a very low end PC with normal resolution. If I remember this correctly, somewhere near 1:41, every single time, I would get a counter option AFTER he beat the crap out of Batman. I couldn't defeat Joker at all, thought I was doing something wrong, decided to start a new game, ended up in the same place as before. Then I searched online for the walkthrough, didn't find anything special about the fight, did some more research and found that you had to lower the resolutions, as low as you possibly can.

Christian Alexander Are you that stupid? You realize everyone who was close to Bruce could’ve been kidnapped or killed because the entire world knew Batman’s identity? He had to fake his death so that the world would think Batman is dead, and still continue the mantle without the criminal’s consent. It also showed a lotta symbolism and meaning with Batman’s ideology when Scarecrow brought him the Arkham Asylum, and injected him 3 times. First as Bruce, then to Joker, and then to Batman, who is seen as a fearless warrior and someone who gives fear to evil. It also creates an end to the relationship between Batman and Joker, you’re just so stupid to not see all of what the ending meant.

aygecko there’s a lot of theories that the Joker has certain superhuman abilities that he doesn’t even know about. In the Comics, Gordon has commented a few times on how Batman has put Joker in a body cast multiple times, yet he always seems to recover.

The joker was Batman's punching bag

Batman in Origins is at the start of his crime-fighting career so no one actually know who he is. That's probably why Batman has to make such an intimidating and often brutal first impression.

Batman's bigger in Origins, too, and he actually looks more inhuman than Asylum and City. You can actually FEEL the fear the criminals have of Batman, since they view him as a myth. And they think they'll die by him if they let him get them. In Asylum and City, they're still scared, but they know he's real and that he won't kill them.

I think this is his second year as Batman, right I could be wrong and he’s much much much more aggressive in orgins

@@ironikz4006 in Arkham Origins, and later in Batman: Assault on Arkham He did a very good job as Batman in Lego Batman 2, but his Joker in both Origins and AOA was spectacular, incredibly close to the work of Mark Hamill

Thank you. I'm never going to get platinum trophy on it because they closed the online mode, but to be honest the "I Am The Night" trophy is close enough to platinum for me.

@@JudgeBane It's a shame that took down the servers. Online mode was a nice variation on the Cops vs Robbers and it was fun sneaking up on the criminal players as Batman/Robin. You should be proud of "I Am The Night." Arkham Origins is my favorite game in the series most likely due to the fact that it has the best boss battles.

@@christianchappell4193 Correction: The Joker CAN fight, as he disarmed Gordon and Warden Jospeh earlier, prior before the cutscene. He just can't properly fight Batman.

But still, Roger Smith and Troy baker did a fantastic job

The director and writers of the game made a conscious decision against using Conroy and Hamill for their voices. As they were doing an ‘origins’ story for the main two characters, they wanted a different tone to the voices, something ‘younger’ than what Conroy and Hamill were able to provide at the time. Budget had nothing to do with it; the graphics shown alone were on par with Arkham City and similar games at the time of release. And besides, unfortunately not everyone is going to be able to voice characters forever. Hamill has since declared that he no longer wanted to voice Joker after Arkham Knight (because that one was just a PERFECT way to send him off, huh?), so it’s a pretty smart move to find someone that can nail a very similar timbre of voice, and Baker did a damn good job of it. It’s hard when VA’s finally move on from defining roles like this, but eventually, new things have to be tried out. On that note, I’m not entirely sure if Conroy has voiced his opinion on not voicing the Batman in any future appearances just yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if something happens sooner or later.

Roger Craig Smith is so much better than Conroy. Honestly Conroy's voice sounds so wooden and monotonous during interrogations.

Arkham Origins takes place 8 years before Arkham Asylum. Bruce Wayne is 27 and is nearing his second year as Batman when Origins begins.

Yeah I hear you. I'm not a big fan of perma-death modes, especially if it erases your save files. The only reason I bothered with I Am The Night is because I 100% the other Arkham games so I didn't want Origins to be left out. It was okay until the Bane boss fights. That was too nerve wracking because if you get hit when not at max health, it's pretty much a 1-shot.

The Joker is more likely taunting Batman into fighting/killing just so he can show that Bruce is no different than the villains he faces.

Why is the joker so weak in the games I read some of the Batman comics and joker actually beat Batman in a fight before

Arkham origins isnt bad but compared to other arkham games its trash

I liked Origins a lot, too. It’s probably tied for my favorite with Arkham City. Part of what I really liked about Arkham Origins was that it felt like it could exist as a stand-alone Batman story, like Arkham Asylum. Both were part of the Arkham-verse, but also could have existed in virtually any Batman universe and still made as much sense. As for Arkham Knight, even though the graphics and details were really good, I felt the story and Most Wanted missions were a bit disappointing, and I wasn’t a fan of the bat-tank.
