@@SuperMaxKakarottono bro it’s real. I actually know a guy who’s friend’s dad’s wife’s brother’s cousin’s dog’s owner’s friend worked on Shadow. Trust me bro
The fact that Arkham Videos was able to show content exclusively on this channel with the death scenes is absolutely insane. Kudos to this absolute legend!
I love how Roger Craig Smith's voice is perfectly in between Origins and Asylum, I wonder if it was on purpose or just his voice has aged. Probably both?
I think in origins they wanted him to around more aggressive and it aounda alot different than conroy. I think this time around they told him to emulate conroy more. To sound more mature in his voice. It actually makes the voice difference not so jarring in origins.
How refreshing and exciting to see these guys treating our beloved franchise like it deserves to be. The only critic I can make for now is not even about this game, which looks absolutely terrific, but about how expensive gaming has become while some struggle to sustain themselves. I just wished life was cheaper so more people could afford this and enjoy the efforts put behind this project. Sadly, sales probably won’t make justice to the passion Camouflaj is showing in their work because of the necessity to buy a new VR set but I think compagnies (particularly in these last years of insanely bad games only aimed towards battle pass and low cost production) should take notes, understand that solo games aren’t dead and that we need to see the care and love put behind these titles. Being honest, I was disappointed when this game was announced only in VR but I’ll surely look into it now that these developers helped me have faith in the industry again. Keep rocking Camouflaj and never let us down by sitting on your glory steadily 😉
My guess for Robin is that either Bruce recently adopted him, and by the end of the game he will learn Batman is Bruce Wayne and Bruce will decide to train him. Or, that by the end of the game Bruce will adopt Dick
I’m curious on how old Grayson is here, I assume 13-14? Since he’d be robin until one year before asylum which is 7 years- which Jason was robin during that time frame and dies before asylum starts.
I hope he's already Training as Robin in the Batcave, the Arkham Timeline is Only 13 years which is fine. But Rick should already be training as Robin by this time which would make sense.
Absolute unit Arkham Videos is, Greatest arkham player ever, biggest arkham channel ever, and three rounds of q&a with the developers of the next arkham game? Come so far from back when i would rewatch the arkham city full walkthrough back in 2012
I'm sure it will! I'm already saving a lot of money to buy the meta quest for this one game and like, even if its ass, it's still Arkhamverse and as a die-hard arkham fan I want to experience every bit of lore I can ^///^
I guess I'll be playing this game in my full batman outfit. At first I was a sceptic but after all these updates and hearing people get to experience the demo it blew me away. You have done an amazing job. Can't wait to get into this amazing game.
Even though I likely won't play this game, I've heard nothing but good news from the biggest skeptics and honestly it sounds like the developers really care about this game. I'm excited for what this means for the future of Arkham games!
Why, most games can look like this, the community has no expectations for VR therefore most devs release the most bare bones crap and kids will eat it up. So why put effort into anything, real gamers, and passionate devs know how to utilize the tech properly, optimize, spend time with interactions and push the system to its limits. This is no surprise or news to anyone that knows the basics.
it looks beautiful and put a lot of detail and love but most people don't have money to buy completely new type of console only for one game., i hope this will be successful
Why would it only be for one game. There’s over 600 games on the quest platform. Assassin’s Creed Nexus, resident evil 4, Metro awakening, Walking dead saints and sinners, Justice the vampire masquerade, Batman Arkham shadow, Iron man VR and so many more. These are all games that are a completely different experience from regular gaming.
I really like how they have batman have arms one thing that has always put me off on vr is the immersion breaking floating hands so cool to be able to see your body
I agree 100%. The games that have the feature of having a full arms view, really add to the experience. Red matter 2 for example had me just holding my arms out looking at them for 5 minutes lol.
I will admit, I am happy that this team is so passionate about the Arkhamverse, I also love that they are taking a lot of inspiration from Asylum. I hope the game has a very similar atmosphere.
Really hyped to hear that the game is taking a lot of influence from Asylum. That game’s structure, pace, and overall linearity make it my favorite of the series. So far, this looks phenomenal. Very pleasantly surprised.
man when the teaser trailer came out, I didnt want it, The story-trailer comes out, I still didnt want it QNA 1 comes out, my opinion was changing a bit Gameplay trailer comes out, I might want to get a mq3, qna 2 comes out, I might get it yters start playing it early and QNA 3 comes out, I NEED TO GET A MQ3 AND THiS GAME ASAP
It literally offers the greatest gaming expierence possible by far. Its so far ahead of normal tv based gaming is mind boggling. Everything is in full 3D with realistic scale and it tracks your hands and head 1:1 on 6 degrees in space and uses this to let you naturally interact with games. Its insane lol
This game made me get a VR so excited to play this and metro awakening these games graphically are the best looking VR games I have seen hope more games of this quality come to meta quest 3
Now I’m very interested in Dick Grayson’s role in this game since at this point his parents have already been killed, so I wonder if he knows who we are or if he’s just living at the manor. So many questions I know they can’t answer
I just got a Quest 3 last week and this game was a part of the reason why. I loved the Arkham games on PC and I'm looking forward this on PC. It'll be my first real AAA VR game.
Not sure if this was asked in previous Q&As, but given the new VR platform, I'm curious if there will be any jumpscares (think ManBat in Knight; Scarecrow thug easter egg in City; Croc is Asylum, etc.). That'd give me a heart attack!
Goddamn I am so hyped and so damn ready. I recently played through arkham knight and got my fire for batman games again. Honestly can't wait to see what the team has got instore for me, the game looks crazy immersive from the clips they've already shown.
Actually there’s a game called battle glide that is basically a proof of concept for that. There are guns in the game but you dont need them at all really. It’s got some stealth mechanics that are really solid, the web swinging his awesome, and while the melee combat/gun combat arent the best, they are still incredibly fun, especially considering the ragdolls and other things you can do.
One of my biggest fears was that this was going to be another Arkham VR tech demo with no real depth, but nope, this is an actual full blown Arkham game. And while I won't be able to play it due to not having a VR headset, I absolutely cannot wait for Arkham Videos' playthrough of it!
Man, that wouldn't do it justice! If anything, it ruins your first impressions if you manage to get a Q3 one day. I would advise anybody against watching a playthrough of a vr game. Just like I did back with Resident Evil 7 PS VR. Quest 3 S is due 16th October, for $299, I'm sure bundled with this game. Get one! It'll sell like hot cakes.
Finally something truly complete, thoughtfully crafted, and fully immersive to shake up the VR space besides VR mods. Hopefully the industry continues to see growing support to eventually bring more AAA experiences like this, and bring them back to the PCVR space as well.
These guys need to be given the whole franchise They're so passionate, respectful and understand what it takes to build a game in this franchise More so than modern rocksteady
These guys are great, lovin all the info they revealed... and it looks like they, along with the team at Camoflag created something insanely special for us Arkham fans who love VR. I make PSVR2 content, and I literally just bought a Quest 3 for this game alone. Too die hard of an Arkham Fan to miss this experience, especially when the game looks that good. Also tons of other games I can experience now that I've been wanting to get my hands on with the Quest3... but my god am I hyped for Arkham Shadow. Already know i'm gonna put hundreds of hours into this game.
Man this looks good, here’s one thing I hope, when you beat any of the Spider-Man games you get to move around the city and get collectibles and fight crime, I hope it’s like that. Although I do love the Arkham Games!
So I know it's not really up to you guys that it's an exclusive, but Hitman 3 Reload was also Meta Quest 3 exclusive and I would have loved to see it on PSVR2! The PSVR 1 version was fun despite the limitations. But the launch of Reload was so terrible on Quest 3 idek why it is an exclusive. The graphics were not pushing the headset, in fact they looked barely passable, and even the systems they built from the "ground up" were mostly button presses. The eye tracking and haptics on the PSVR2 would be such a cool and unique addition too that really adds to the immersion! I see the passion you guys put into this game and it's a shame more people can't experience it.
