I just hope the devs release patches that actually help improve Arkham Knight a lot. It’s my favorite in the series. And I was looking forward to playing it on the Switch.
Same. There's some wierd compromises like the lighting on Asylum making it look washed out, but both City and Asylum are decent. Knight is rough. I'm sure it was pushed since it was already delayed and they wanted to get it out before Xmas. I'll do an update video when they deploy a Bat-patch
I actually never knew that, so I'll correct the record. It felt strange that the others would allow it but not Arkham Knight. I'm hoping some patches will get Knight up to scratch
I actually don’t mind separate icons on the homescreen. I was dreading that it would be something stupid like how assassins creed had you go to the eshop
I don't mind much either, but I think I was just hoping for something more I guess. Having the 3 icons dosn't affect my score, but I had a few people ask about it when I covered the MGS Collection so mentioned it here. Also yeah, AC was frustrating! hahaha
Arkham Asylum and City are both absolutely fine, Arkham Knight is still playable and I’m sure it’ll be fixed over time What I don’t understand is, the amount of games on ANY console that gets released when glitches etc are there, normally they are fixed within time, yet, the ‘final’ review is normally from the released state, which we all know is pretty common now thanks to the demands from the industry I’ve played them all and I’m fine with it, graphics don’t matter to me at all, and I don’t understand why so many people focus on graphics being as 2d and pixelated games are played regularly. Generally, people complaining about graphics is just utterly redundant, it’s like when I’ve heard people complaining at the crowds on a football game… THIS DOES NOT EFFECT ANYTHING! I grew up on flat surfaces that was depicting crowds, no one has imagination any more
On xbox and PlayStation you can get the whole collection including DLC for £9.99. The only good thing about the Switch version was that it used the 360/ps3 version.
@@stevenbishop1782 but you can’t take the PlayStation to a park or on a train and play it and it’s for people that only has a freaking switch… I don’t understand why people think everyone has access to every console…

Origins wasn't made by Rocksteady but WB Montreal (the same monsters responsible for Gotham Knights) and it's not really part of the trilogy, but rather a spin off. While the worst of the Arkham games, do agree that should be included along with Blackgate in one Arkham Collection bundle for all 5 games.
@Athenalikespizza I played it back in the day on PS4 and while it had some issues, I had a terrible experience with it on Switch. Some people are saying they didn't have as bad a time but I had buildings appear as random brown blobs and the game just stopping. A few updates and it should be good I hope

Yeah it would have been great to have all 4 of the Arkham games. It's the original versions of the first 2 games, and for some reason a lot of detail has been cut from Asylums graphics. City looks great.
Some comments addressed it above, but a different angle to look at it is “Arkham Trilogy from Rocksteady.” A different studio did Origins. Iirc, the Steam bundle only focuses on those 3 as well?
I agree with you in Asylum and City but ARKHAM KNIGHT on the other hand you are giving far to much crap, we didn't know back then what we could have had and you still have to acknowledge that this is a portable console not an exclusive home one. Arkham knight is fine and is as playable as the rest of the games and the only reason you are giving arkham knight crud is because of the bat-mobile and the community is split on that. In conclusion this is my opinion you are overestimating how much the switch can handle, all I would personally say is the brightness is too low in some areas of the game, which therefore makes it look "bad". Edit: you talk about Batman: Arkham City armored edition the WiiU port for arkham city (WHICH WAS ON A CONSOLE NOT A HANDHELD), from my experience with that game typically I would experience frame drops between the Industrial district and amusement mile (and vise versa) usually due to speed, the batmobile chases are fast therefore the switch has to process a lot of things such as the map as you chase a car at the beggining of the game.
Thank you for commenting, I appreciate your feedback! It's really good to hear other opinions on the game and I'm glad you are enjoying it. For me, the Batmobile sections were frustrating on the Switch due to the game constantly pausing, or sections failing to load, and for me, I just didn't enjoy those sections at all. I'm not sure if I overestimate what the Switch can handle, I just think Arkham Knight was pushed for release before it was ready on Switch. After its initial delay, it's clear it was pushed to get gamers Xmas dollars for the holiday season and could have done with a bit more optimisation. Just a few weeks ago, Hogwarts did the impossible and came out with great overall performance and managed to look incredible for the Switch all things considered. I have no doubt a few post-release patches will fix it up though.
Totally agree,I’m having a lot of fun on knight,It’s not perfect but I haven’t had any glitches apart from the odd Batmobile freeze but it’s not anywhere near unplayeable.Im loving it.:-)
