My favorite part of the show was always how terry had to learn on the spot how to be Batman, and he would use his knowledge from past fights to gain an understanding of what it’s like to be Batman
And it all builds up to the climax when Terry at the end fights the Joker using Batman and Robin's (stolen) knowledge in their prime :P That he beats the Joker is the final passing of the torch that he is the new Batman
If i will see a movie with a minimum 250 mil budget - 3hours run time, done right with the perfect script , perfect score, perfect script i will watch it a minimum of 10.000 times in my lifetime !
I actually found the show a little bit darker in tone and themes. It explored drug abuse, body modifications, power, greed, corruption, and Batman even killed several of his villains. There was definitely some high schooly bits in it due to his age, but it was still a very edgy series. I'm glad it's still popular! It lives on in comics, and hopefully a movie one day :). I'll agree that it isn't as good as BTAS though - but I don't think anything will be. That show is a gem.
Apparently in the shows continuity, Bruce retired in 2019. Feel old yet? That felt like distant future enough to put in future tech tropes. We have no flying cars yet. We have no flying batsuits, I wish we lived in the batman beyond universe
vergil kuchiki -_- really? GIVE TERRY BREAK!? WE HAVE NOT SEEN TERRY SINCE THE JUSTICE LEAGUE EPISODE EPILOGUE! batman beyond needs to be made into an arkham style series!
It’s a shame Batman Beyond never got a season 4 or season 5 and neither a sequel movie, I mean this show and movie was a masterpiece for Batman Beyond fans, why they don’t understand true action and art anymore?
We did, the ratings just didn't hold up well overall. If it's not making them more money, it's not gonna work out long. That's the sad truth of why we got so many Teen Titans GO seasons. It's bingeable, low hanging fruit that works for children.
@@michaelaoren7058 Dick Grayson from the OG Teen Titans is way better dude does multiple flips, jacks, jump constantly and fights opponent 10 or 20times his size with only few equipment his punches are strong enough to break concrete, bricks and iron and knows how to handle bike, car, truck at master degree and when you'll see the show you'll know what i'm talking about and he does all that without breaking a sweat and backing down.
@@TheWritter-qo9ty I am begging you, sir. If you're going to call yourself the Writter, clearly meant to be the Writer, and have an icon with pen and paper, learn how to master your space bar.
why not make one for the 360 or xbox one because it would be awesome to include this batman in a arkham game. wait then again can i ask who is thinking the arkham series is getting old?
I always loved how the inside of terrys batmobile was just blaring with red light, it was legit badass like a bat sitting in darkness or something it just makes cutting to him when he’s sitting in it look so interesting.
Fun Fact! The Batmobile Beyond interior was designed to be largely unreadable to anyone else inside it that didn't have the light filters in Batman's mask. This is shown in the series when the two idiot jokers steal the thing but can barely even fly it cause they can't figure out the controls because they can't see any labels or indicators without the optical filters.
Like the part where Bruce Wayne gave up on being batman because he held a gun an shot someone an toss the gun an say never again to be batman an off the lights of the bat cave BTW Bruce made that batsuit an wore it before Terry mcguinnis Terry mcguinnis stole the batman suit to revenge on the ones who killed his father an I could say more so yeah I watched batman beyond twice an my favorite part is the whole two parts an more of batman beyond show an movie an the epilog of justice league unlimited
+Hector Dubon Imagine them dropping a surprise Batman Beyond trailer at a comic-con and the first thing you hear is that beginning bass riff.... *KREYGASM*
I still remember when I first saw the movie "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" and saw Batman. I thought the costume was the coolest fucking thing I had ever seen, I even hoped they would make a tv-series of this. Then this show came out of nowhere on Cartoon Network and I instantly feel in love with this intro song. This was a great childhood memory for me. ^^
Especially since WB apparently wanted high-school versions of Batman characters having all-ages adventures, only to be presented with a super-gritty cyberpunk dystopia featuring stories of parent death, drug addiction and corporate corruption. I'm amazed they even let it air.
*At online video game show 2021* *You sit down at rocksteady's showroom* Rocksteady:We would like to introduce the Court of Owls to the arkham franchise! *suddenly the lights go out* *You heard this play as the red bat symbol appears on the screen* You:holy shit... just imagine if you will
Well if they did either a live movie or live tv, idk if the whole idea of Terry's batsuit making him look like a robot would be a good view for the fans (If you know what I mean)
Terry is so different, yet so simililar to to bruce. He's more down to earth for the most part. But he also a complex side to him and was an excellent detective like bruce.
I love this theme, not only because the show was a great part of my childhood (and a masterpiece) but because it's a great piece of music. I also love how they threw the villain calling cards into the intro sequence flawlessly.
I love how the name Batman Beyond would be explained later on in Justice League Unlimited. I won't spoil anything, and it is kinda of lame but hearing Admanda Waller say that the world always needs a Batman and "Project Batman Beyond" was great. Honestly they should either make a show or a movie because Old Bruce Wayne and Terry McGuiness are great.
Holy crap, I LUV Batman Beyond!!!! I am a HUGE fan of Batman and he is THE one I look up to, this NEEDS to happen in live action because it would be bloody AMAZING!!!
Damn, I love this theme. the angsty, grudge feel from this theme just makes me feel like I'm playing a Twisted Metal game. Especially how the guitar shreds. That's cool, too.
