Why does he work so well as a Batman villain? 1. Creepy 2. Street level with powers 3. Animal themed costume 4. Smart enough to be a threat but not overwhelming 5. Comes up with different themes every time 6. Deep history 7. And of course can be a reoccurring villain

"I always come back." doesn't mean quite as much when you've caught the attention of Batman, the man who aways has a contingency plan.

You can almost hear a bit of venom in Batman's voice, as if he is reminded of the man who pulled the trigger on his parents as a child. The very thought of a mad man who took the lives of innocent children away from their parents is something I don't think even he can stomach. But beware, Batman. There's another person you'll need to save from themself, before they become the next William Afton...

Based on the synopsis, Afton would not be out of place in Gotham. The constantly returning in new, creepier ways is something right out of a 90's comic run.

It is so beautifully in-character for Bruce Wayne to help the spirits of murdered children find peace, and strive to put an end to Afton once and for all, and for that, I think this might be one of, if not the best of these contingency plans.

afton is such a batman villian, batmans dealed with phycos like pig so the killin kids part isnt crazy for a batman storie, williams a mad scientist, and hes good at covering his footsteps so it would be an interesting insvestigation storie too, plus they both wear animal costumes lol and the fight would be interesting if we take springtraps book feats into consideration.

as a fan of fnaf, this sounds like a good plan, but, there's 2 things about glitchtrap and burntrap: 1): It was confirmed that glitchtrap and burntrap AREN'T william afton, neither in psychal or digital form. 2): Glitchtrap and burntrap is an animatronic called "The Mimic" who has the ability to see and mimetize, from behavior to actions. is not specified when, but the mimic witnesed one of william's killings, that's the reason as to why he represents himself in the fnaf VR as a yellow bonnie. also, the mimic has a hive mind, and fazbear entertainmen has produced some robots or products using the original mimic program, meaning that around (possibly( all of the world a robot is killing kids just because he learned how to do that. I don't know if this is accurate, i was disconnected from the fnaf history for a while, but that's the things i remember about them Also, via a VR headset, mimic can "infect" someone innocent with the same psychopatic behavior has william afton, example: vannessa from security breach, she was a beta tester of the VR Help wanted 1 game (and the main character that we controll in said game) and when she encountered glitchtrap, she got infected and transformed in the killer "Vanny" from security breach as i said earlier, i am not too sure about what i wrote here, but as far i remember, this is the info about it

William Afton is a man with many feats, including returning to life in a grotesque form, but even he cannot deny Batman his prep time.

This video made me understand the lore of the FNAF series better than any other informations on Internet.

If you want to put Afton down for good, you'll need to take down Cassidy, first; she/he is one of two spirits within Golden Freddy, and the one responsible for Afton's return as Glitchtrap. They tethered his spirit to his biological remains so they could torture them with neverending nightmares for eternity. As long as they're still at large, Afton will come back.

It's funny and ironic that William Afton could literally be a Batman villain. He's practically a mix of Professor Pyg and the Riddler.

Some of the DC evilest supernatural villains could find used for burn trap. Also, Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about Miss Kobayashi’s maid dragon.

William Afton would work TOO WELL if he had a villain team up with Baby Doll from the Batman cartoon. It could be a story about someone looking towards William for a vessel of their own purpose, Baby Doll of having the adult looking body she wanted. Of course, it would have a deal that involves remnant, using Baby Doll to socialize with other children due to her young appearance despite her age

Maybe Batman should put in a call to Sam and Dean Winchester. They know all about sending spirits on to where they need to be.

William actually fits pretty well in the setting in Gotham, just Pizzarias mysteriously opening up all around the city providing endless entertainment to the children of Gotham, but little did they know they've all fallen into "His" trap, and have become experiments for his obsession to harness remnant. Pretty well set up villain for Batman to face, and a much scarier one at that.

Slight problem, as long as Afton has a legacy he will comeback, in different shapes and forms. After all as he said himself he is agony, so destroying him will be quiet the challange. Most of the time it will be someone else mimicking him.

He’s making sure Afton can never hurt anyone again, I’m sure the freed spirits of the children would be happy they finally got the justice they deserved and can rest peacefully.

When even Batman himself decides to break his rule and kill, that’s when you know your on a whole another level of evil.

Hate to break it to ya, Bats, but Glitchtrap can do a LOT more than infiltrate a technological system. He's an AI that's learned to hijack *human minds,* compartmentalizing their original personalities and using them to continue to pursue and murder young children. Some have died, those who remain are effectively possessed, and some purge program won't be able to get rid of Glitchtrap's influence without first breaking the vessels' minds. It's speculated he's even gotten into the upper management of Fazbear Entertainment, which has only gotten worse in recent times both in negligence and outright abuse of both its workers AND its patrons. Afton's soul also already has a personal tormentor that's sealed him into a Hell of her own creation. You probably won't need to worry too much about him as long as you keep tabs on her. Her name is Cassidy, the child who went on to possess Golden Freddy/Fredbear. We can't say for certain what became of the other souls who became involved in what proved to be Henry Emily's suicide mission, but we're not certain they're all taken care of, especially with other reports we've found. Most of which came from Henry's next of kin, his remaining son Samuel, aka Sammy. That Burntrap thing, by the way? Not actually Afton. Turns out there was another animatronic at the Freddy Fazbear Pizza Megaplex called the Mimic, that went off the rails when its AI learned what violence was, eventually also learning about Afton through Glitchtrap and working to imitate him in every way possible, with an obvious end-goal. Last report, the damn thing tricked some poor kindergartner into almost setting it loose, and we think the child in question managed to decommission it somewhere in the caverns beneath the complex, but we haven't seen any sign of her having left the wreckage. We've also gotten reports of something else in the walls, with footage including a gigantic, shapeless monster whose only notable features are several old animatronic masks, and the head of a certain Funtime Freddy: one of those killer animatronics in the Circus Baby lineup. However, Samuel Emily sends the message that he has children of his own who are far more willing to help you directly in your efforts than the man himself, along with several young relatives of Afton's many victims who still live in the area. I can't say much of who they are unless they confirm any desire to meet you themselves. But one thing they'll warn you about is that they can't be sure if the government or other villains might turn up with an interest in Afton's research in Remnant and the existence of the Glitchtrap and potentially the Mimic. I don't think I need to elaborate on how bad the result would be if such parties get their hands on any of the threats mentioned above.

Batman would have heard of William afton through commissioner Gordon or something. Like it was a cold case from a few years back. He begins to track spring trap, then scrap traps location, all the way to security breach. A brand new Freddy father’s pizza Plex opens up in Gotham. And he quickly breaks in during the night, probably bumping into Gregory and Freddy. And eventually, his target. Burn trap. After they all manage to escape the cursed establishment in…which one of the endings was cannon again? Oh yeah the princess quest ending! Yeah after the princess quest ending he returns back to find Williams remains stretched across a rusty endoskeleton, bringing him back to Arkham asylum in pieces. And within ear shot, of the joker. Then they’d team up and some horrible murderous rampage involving stuffing people into suits would occur. Something like that.

You know, he has a point with the incendiary tactics. Most of the fires Afton's been in have been accidents and a lighter trap meant for a large scale destruction. But using a flame device that's meant to melt one target? Much worse than a simple pizzeria fire.
