He can jump off all the roofs and punch all the bad guys but there is nothing more satisfying in a Batman story than simply outsmarting the villain.

Note: What I really liked about this particular Batman and the actor playing him… I didn’t know who he was. So to me, he was Batman. Not a famous actor playing Batman.

Damn, how did I only just now find this? This is an absolute masterclass in Batman storytelling in just 20 minutes. Something several animated series know how to do all too well.

I love how there’s no need to have big actions scenes involving Batman or giant explosions. It’s just a simple crime investigation I love it.

Conroy voice, Keaton body language, and Affleck/Bale aggression. He did a damn good Batman

i LOVE this Batman. His combat feels heavy and weighted, it feels like he's actually in a suit of armor that constricts his movement. Reminds me of Arkham Batman almost with how intimidating he is. I would absolutely love a full-length movie of this iteration of Batman.

How am I only seeing this? This is like you pull Batman straight out of the comic books and breathe life into it. The cinematography, acting, script, PERFCT.

The visuals of the city are EXACTLY what Gotham should look like. The darkness the coldness was perfect

The Joker’s facial expressions are wild. He had some really strong moments. Batman feels plucked out of the Arkham games, and that’s a good thing.

Kevin Porter's Batman has it all: the voice, the physicality, the intensity, and he comes across as every bit the detective out-thinking the Joker. And the figure he cuts: his height and build, the suit, I'd be shitting my pants if I ran into this Batman.

Everyone in comments are talking about how good Batman is but no one is talking about the actor who played joker he did a fantastic job with the character

WOW! He directed, Wrote AND stared. His Joker is probably one of the most spot on. Creepy as hell! This was better than most DC/Marvel movies hand down and he didn't have the budget that Hollywood has. AMAZING! Just his movements as the joker was genius. He could just stand there and smile and scare the s**** out of you. And the writing was fantastic. Set design. Other actors were perfect. Directing was perfect. Amazing work.

Never noticed that the villain's ID numbers are the years they were introduced; 40 for Joker, 93 for Harley, 66 for Ivy, etc.

The whole Mad Hatter hideout sequence is awesome. Fighting is brutal and I love the lighting of Batman as he stands over Jervis. Brilliant.

This Batman, the way he talks, moves and fights, is one for the books. His voice sounds like the one in the animated series. Warner Bros should consider hiring this group. So authentic!

I absolutely love how Kevin Porter portrays Batman. He’s very, dark and intimidating as Batman. I also love that they got Chris Daughtry to play Hugo Strange. I think it’s awesome that that happened because Chris is a really huge Batman fan too.

I can appreciate the whole grounded and serious thing that they’re always trying to do with Batman but … THIS. This is what I want from a Batman movie! He looks so menacing and perfect and just amazing. The way the shadows cast across his face. The voice. The everything. The suit is amazing, the cowl is amazing. With 250 million behind these guys this could be a great ARKHAM movie adaptation. It’ll never happen but, man… it would be sickkkkkkkkkk

This was very well done. Porter as Batman and Schoenke as the Joker were excellent. Schoenke's facial movements are more like the Joker than any of the movie incarnations. The plot line was good as was the dialogue. Schoenke gets triple credit for also writing the screenplay and also being a co-director. .

It's a breath of fresh air to see a batman film that looks like the comic pages come to life. Kevin Porter strongly embodies Alex Ross's BATMAN. I'm also very happy to see the Joker return to his Iconic makeup. (or should I say skin?) FINALLY. On top of all of this, the cinematography is completely fitting to create that certain BATMAN Aesthetic.

Such a well done film! To me, this film is the closest to how Jim Lee's Batman comics feel! Beautiful job! And the post credit scene was a nice touch.

Going back to this every few months is such an experience. Kevin porter is definitely who plays batman the way I want to see and michael Madsen as Bullock is such a good casting and love to see him in things

The actor who played batman looks a lot like batman: arkham origins batman. He did a good job, a lot of things in here reminds me of that trilogy.

Kevin Porter's Batman is Ben Affleck's body with Kevin Conroy's voice and a better team of writers and directors than Warner Bros. could put together. The "Bat in the sun" team should be given a larger budget. Imagine what they could accomplish.

Apolitical, a fan made film actually made by true fans, not multi-million dollar studios obsessed with injecting politics no one wants to see. I must say, this film and team just put to shame entire movie studios in 25 minutes. Absolutely amazing. Great nods and subtle references made. I was captivated since the first minute. Music, acting, directing, costumes, lighting, continuity, editing, visuals, artistic design, boards, make-up and dialogue--just...perfect for me. The end credit song sung by Ms.Rae was also perfect. 10/10 for me. By the way, is there anyway I can donate money towards this or your next project ? I'd love to show a little of my gratitude for making millions smile and escape reality--even for a brief moment. Regards from Japan.

This is 2 years old and I just seen this now. I feel embarrassed, this short film was impressive. I would guarantee watch this I loved it. The Joker was almost spot on. Kevin Porter playing Batman was honestly jaw dropping impressive. Maybe Kevin Porter should get the role of the new Batman, since Keaton, and Affleck are done with the role. Impressive

This is perfect in every way! Being a avid reader of all his stories and playing all the arkham games, I really appreciated what this content showed. Well written, well shot. Truly the best fan film I have seen and I have seen many fan films.

I actually loved this! Kevin's Batman is, has always been and will forever be breathtaking. Aaron's Joker (while I'll admit it's far from my favorite portrayal) is such a fun version of it. I love the fight style, the costume, I loved seeing a little Impractical Jokers reference in the 3 police officers names, I LOVED Bullock (how did I never think of it? OF COURSE Michael Madsen would make for a pretty good Harvey Bullock!) This was incredible!

We seriously need a series following this Batman. Amazing job as always guys, congrats! 👏

Aarons Joker has really grown on me.I remember first watching this video and not really thinking much of it but coming back i’m actually blown away by his performance lmao. The little section of dialogue where he talks about Jason was acted brilliantly. You can see his motives behind his eyes and the way each line is delivered is genuinely spectacular. I mean Porter is great but that’s a given he’s genuinely batman along side Conroy in my eyes. Praying Aaron gets offered something at WB one day the man knows his shit for crying out loud!
