This... Genuinely broke my heart. Kevin shouldn't have been treated like this.. his legacy should never have been treated like this. Especially, when just being shot in the face by a Harley quinn. I dont know what the fuck is wrong with modern writters. Its not only this game, but a general downgrade. Starfield quests, story and Lore was way worse than Skyrim and Oblivion days, Rainbow 6 Siege turning into power rangers, and now this. Why the fuck have good stories dissapeared from gaming?

@@kyloren114 that still doesn’t take away the fact they made a humiliation of Kevin Conroy’s Batman. And his last line voice acting as him is so out of character for Batman. It sounds like something Spider-Man or Deadpool would say. I’m not upset they wanted to Kill Batman for the story if they wanted to make this canon to the Arkham verse, but if they wanted to piggyback off the games they should have put way more respect in the character that got them to this point.

Isn't Batman peak human and can at least aim dodge? His suit should also be bullet proof. I'm confused by this. He's fought for 24 hours before, has inhuman pain resistance, and can literally pick up whether someone's lying just by reading them. I don't think even pointing a gun to his head while he is tied up would be enough to kill him. He could disarm faster than the eye could see. Even in the Arkham verse he was strong enough to peel open air vents and fight opponenrs like killer croc

The problem is that they took Batman, the superhero who's powers are his intelligence and insane discipline, brainwashed him, made him kill a ton of people including TIM DRAKE, gave him zero agency in trying to resist the brainwashing, and then unceremoniously killed him. Like I'm sorry but there is no way that this version of Batman would allow that to happen. Even under brainwashing, he would find a way to resist it and kill himself before he murdered a member of his family. And then they had the audacity to claim that all this shit happens after the ending of Arkham Knight. If you wanna write an edgy elseworlds story about killing Batman, then be my guest. But trying to tack it onto a completed story for marketing synergy is so fucking tone deaf. They're saying "hey, remember those games you loved? None of it fucking mattered and they're all dead," and somehow they're shocked that it's not a selling point.
