Actual Batman suffers from bad bad writing. He is the example when you want a silly human to be something he could never be. That is what is so great with mr Manhattan and Omni Man it just rip those silly writing to pieces. Of course there would never in any universe be a rich strong, smart and focused man that would be even remotely on par with someone like Darkside or Superman. A smart strong fly would not defeat me. Batman in comics is just ridiculous nowadays.

@@TheDream64 well they're contingency plans. By definition, they will ONLY be used if the JL members ever go rogue. Therefore, if the JL members ever become evil, of course they will know that they will fight Batman eventually. Also, even IF they didn't know, their reflexes are all much, much better than Batman's. Remember that almost all of these guys can move and react faster than Bruce can even see, let alone act.

@Super Duck yes I know. But let me ask you this: why does Batman win against insurmountable odds? Even with all his plans, does it make sense that a man who had his back broken by Bane could fight on equal standing with anyone who can react faster and move faster than Bane? Ask yourself that. As smart as Batman is, does it REALLY make sense that he could beat the likes of the Flash or Superman, both characters who could literally think and move faster than he could even see, think, or act? Or could it be that the only reason he ever ever wins these matchups is because the writers decided that he should win? That these characters were nerfed either mentally or physically specifically to let him win? Think about it.

He even has a plan to defeat himself if he too turned rogue. Edit: U guys know a lot more about this whole topic than I do that's for sure. To me the contingency plan made Batman look Badass, regardless of the plotholes in that plan. Huge meteor can be deliver by superman or Shazam or batman with his space ship. Arthur Carry have no way to legalize Atlantida's wealth (if atlantians even let him spend it on underwater's freaks in costume) in underwater world. Even Diana have a dificullty for this. They have no way to buy so many technics and hire so many people without revealing fact of existance of their base.

I'd argue Batman most certainly has a "superpower", but its all mental based. Super Intellect + Super Willpower, with none of the social tradeoffs most "smarties" give up. The whole point of his character is to show that drive + intellect can produce the same results as reality warping superpowers. If you were to "corrupt" his character by having him go after more than gadgets he'd probably: grab green & yellow lantern rings, learn magic, build a super AI that hacks into all the information networks in the world and watches everyone all the time, reverse engineer all the super villains super science, splice his genome w/kryptonian & amazonian DNA, etc etc etc.
