In the original Batman suit from the 1989 Batman, Michael Keaton couldn't turn his head in the suit. That's why he turns his whole body around to see the Joker in the helicopter.

I hope next time Bane is in a live action movie, they actually make him like his comic version. The Batman and Robin movie had him look good. But made him dumb, meanwhile the one in the dark knight rises was intelligent, but not big. Honestly the only character I enjoyed in B&R was Poison Ivy. Uma Thurman was just chewin the scenery and I loved it

1. I've mentioned this before, so I'll be brief. Jack Nicholson's Joker wasn't "lovestruck." He hated women. After all, he held one of them responsible - if only in passing in the film's dialogue - for his disfigurement. So he set out to terrorize and humiliate women in the same way "they" had done it to him, and especially to the one who was originally "guilty" (Alicia). That's a pretty fair feminist reading of the 1989 film, I'd say. 2. I still believe that the 1990s animated Batman series is the version that got the look of Gotham City just right. It obviously takes a lot of cues from Burton, but it draws more on the Art Deco look of 1939-1940 than the "classic Christmas" iconography of Batman's formative years. To be sure, BATMAN RETURNS is a wonderful example of the "non-Christmas-like" holiday film, along with HOME ALONE and LOVE ACTUALLY. But I'll always think of it as a basically "Elseworlds" Batman. 3. Technically, the 2004 CATWOMAN is indeed canon, because Michelle Pfeiffer's Selina shows up in a photograph. So, as silly as this is to say, Selina Kyle's resurrection is the one truly supernatural element in BATMAN RETURNS. An ancient Egyptian cat spell, or something like that.

Bruce only put two and two together about Joker killing his parents once he said that line "have you ever danced with he devil in the pale moonlight?" you can see Bruce stop dead in his tracks once Joker says that in front of him. Thats why he wouldn't have looked at Jacks mugshot and recognized him. And Vicki is new to Gotham why would she know anything about the Waynes murders? Ya got me about Knox though he should've known for sure

Whats with the tv on the final cuts lately? I get you'd wanna distinguish it from the original videos but does that really mean you need to make the whole thing a small square? It looks like when channels try and get around copyright by uploading a whole episode of something flipped

Dude, different reasons, same conclusion . I get hazed out of the room for even mentioning Val Kilmer being the best live action Batman. But all brought something to the table, except George Clooney he just missed the mark entirely. Val Kilmer had so much to contribute to Batman action wise and he looked good in the costume. but mentally and emotionally he nailed the Dark and brooding emotional aspect of the Dark Knight. But the damn producers and directors just screwed up what this whole franchise could have been. They were given a gold nugget and made an egg of it.

I agree 💯 with Batman Returns being better than the first. However, I cannot stand the penguin remotely riding the Batmobile. That whole scene was not good imo.

I think you need to seperate the comics from the movies. Yeah, they’re the same characters, but it’s still not the same at the same time.

I think Schumacher wasn't given enough credit, espically for what he was trying to do with Forever before it got retooled and Batman and Robin got completely taken over by the studio. There's a reason a lot of his work is still well loved (The Wiz Film Adaptation, The Lost Boys, etc) and though he didn't leave the franchise in a great state after Batman and Robin, it's still ironicly still a better movie than The Flash where they shoved Micheal Keaton and George Clooney. 😂

I know it's notoriously one of the worst superhero movies of all time but I honestly adore Batman and Robin, it's one of those so awful it's incredible movies for me
