I love that scene where they interrogate Deadshot. Superman is trying his darnedest to play the intimidating Bad Cop, but Deadshot knows Supes is too good to seriously hurt someone. Meanwhile, Batman is trying to be the nicer Good Cop, and Deadshot is just like "Eww gross! WTF!? I'll talk, just get him away from me!"
Thats the joke. Justice league action had alot of good jokes My favorite was the one where booster gold made a dinosaur island and had then in inadequete cages
Put simply, neither Batman nor superman are very good at playing the opposite role with a straight face. Superman, however, is depicted as clumsy and completely clueless when he tries to play bad-cop. Batman is not, and i can't stress this enough, IS NOT nice to criminals. So when he supposedly tries to be nice, it's like breaking the laws of nature. It makes no sense and is legitimately terrifying... to the criminals, at least. From an outside perspective, it's hilarious
I love the bat bomb scene. Most movies would try to disguise the fact that they can only afford a handful of extras by having them wear different outfits in different scenes and not show them too closely, but this movie puts them in nun outifts and a marching band play really loud instruments with a never changing song.
Adam West’s Batman is incredibly good, despite being so corny. I think it works because they lean so heavily into that factor and are self-aware of the fact that
There are only 2 situations where its acceptable for a super villian to surrender to the police without a fight 1) when batman is explicitly nice to them 2) when spider man is explicitly rude to them
Kevin Conroy the one and only true definitive best Batman. Rest in peace. He may be gone, and obviously there will obviously be more actors to play Batman but to me the character of Batman Died with Kevin.
Fr, LOL! Batgirl be barking up the wrong tree here 😆; Robin’s like, “girl, if you knew just how wrong your assumption was…” . And the fact that she’s saying Batman’s paying her *less* than Robin and not saying that Robin’s getting paid and she’s not, implies that Batman does indeed pay her whereas Robin just gotta do this job as a favor, lol
Now I know they probably didn’t intend this with the Deadshot interrogation bit, but real world snipers will actively avoid consuming caffeine and sugar to keep the potential jitters from throwing off their aim
The Brave and The Bold, Adam West’s Batman was the ironclad evidence i need to believe that all the writers dinner of choice back then was pure crack cocaine
Acid and coke were their dinners at the discotheques back then along with hard booze throughout the day. What’s really funny is he is bar none the most effective Batman that ever existed, he will always save the day in some of the most advanced and minimalist ways possible. Adam west era Batman also saved the multiverse by giving a dimension hopping Batman a spare utility belt which had shark repellent on it.
As someone who only knows Batman from the Arkham game series, I almost struggle to believe these are real lol. In the games, he has a couple good one liners, but he's so serious and brooding, I can't believe this is the same character. I love it though, it's refreshing
That Batman bomb scene is iconic. I guarantee he had time to do whatever he needed with that bomb before it went off. Including sinking it to the bottom of the water.
2:43 I love how casually everyone just keeps obliviously walking by despite seeing Batman run around with a GIANT bomb with a lit fuse until the end. Also, this clip 0:09 is from Harley Quinn series but technically counts, I guess. Very fun compilation of clips & edit texts!
