That's why i want to see more of these two together, both came from wealth, though it depends on Lex's back story. While Bruce had his loving parents taken away, Lex had abusive parents that stayed in his life in that he either killed or kept. Both run large businesses that they use as guises for other activities, Bruce using it as a means to fund his time as Batman while Lex used it for control and helped him with his criminal activities.

Another great moment of respect is during the DCeased run, is where Lex has to confirm that batman is dead before he accepts the title as world's smartest man.

@@mandalorianhunter1 Well, actually, Lex Luthor is a weird kind of villain... What makes him really a villain is his narcissism. He feels as if he was the only one who can fix all the wrongs in the world. Superman for him is a menace because of two reasons, one of which he's kind of right: Superman COULD be a threat. And Superman is spoiling the world by fixing their issues, making them sit and relax instead of taking action. And funny enough, Superman agrees with both statements. What makes here Luthor different, is the way he approach things. He's the kind of guy who thinks that the best way to solve an issue is by eradicating the issue, unless, this problem can't be completely eradicated, or there's something bigger going on, and then his trick is to use one against the other. Literally, the guy is kind of this "Blackguard" kind of vibe, Lawful-Evil. Luthor aims for the greater good, but only under his hands, with methods that are really questionable. So, yeah, they're not really that different. They just have different approaches to the same problem. Even the narcissism part. Many times you see Batman "It has to be ME!".

@@robertoj.9509 Actually just like The Joker, Lex goes through different changes. He started off as someone just robbing banks, to a corrupt business man to what we have now. He despises what Kryptonians are while wanting to be one. He wants to be above everyone, which is why he can't stand anyone being better or even his equal.

@@robertoj.9509 Luthor is basically DC's doctor doom, except he leads more into machiavellian stylings compared with doom who.. Actually turns into a benevolent ruler and the hope for humanity if granted his goals. I think the only Luthor that had a chance at being 'the good guy' is the Luthor who took superman's powers, realized how cosmically insignificant humanity and the planet earth is, and had the epiphany that 'we are all that we have'. That, specific Luthor.. if given the chance to rehabilitate, will become a hero. But a Luthor that remains unhumbled, a Luthor who never has that dawn of realization.. is just a narcissist who will have it his way, or no way.

Completely slept on story (the start was rough it was just BAM justice league is captured but it was still top tier) This is the story the suicide squad should have followed instead of having dudes with guns who all play the same kill everyone's favorite heroes. A roster of black adam, captain cold, sinestro, lex luthor, and Batman would have been top tier amd no one would have complained about killing the crime syndicate If you liked forever evil you would probably also like "Justice" with art by Alex Ross

Openly said he didn't like the very concept of legacy characters, that certain characters straight up could not age, & he was trying to simplify things to make it easy for adaptation.
