Also The comic in reference is The Dark Knight Returns, where he is older and more violent but only kills joker and maybe one other person, the scene was vague. And that is a hypothetical future. Not canon, yet in BvS batman 50 cal machine guns down a vehicle full of people who are just transporting property to lexcorp. He's never been a serial killer before. BvS's interpretation of him was wack

@@GD.702 you saying he's a serial killer is also not really apt for the Batman in BvS, he just maims & marks criminals for the most part, making an emphasis on the Dark Knight being a scary imposing figure. The one's he kills (from injuries or accidentally) in the big fights with a lot of thugs in the warehouse, that happens in almost all the Batman movies and comics. The gunning down a transport vehicle isn't serial killing, get your terms right. It's just killing, which again, it's become more normal as more adaptations of Batman goes where he's darker. So stop being a comic snob, other than the killing he's a pretty good fit as an old Batman.

I brought up the comic Snyder is literally referencing and drew all his inspiration from. To be clear I see no big problem with him being extra violent or maiming. Just murdering people, literally not murdering people is what defines him. His parents were gunned down and he cannot bring himself to kill, he suffers knowing killers he puts into Arkham just get out and murder again, yet he doesn't kill them. You're right though about serial killing is not quite apt for him in BvS, he's really a mass murderer. (the act of killing a number of people in a single incident or over a short time period, involving more than two)

Ben Affleck was and still is, the most physically intense Batman we've ever seen. Watching the fight between him and Superman in IMAX was incredible. It's a shame the Snyder trilogy got shafted by poor marketing and bad theatrical releases. Would still love to see a solo Batfleck film

My only problem with Affleck is how the writers failed at making him a good Batman, they got everything right, except for him as a person. How tf are you gonna have a Batman that kills? That really ruins things for me, and it’s the same thing with BM v. SM, he’s so irrational. I mean I get why he’s wary of Superman, but he shouldn’t jump to the illogical conclusion he’s going to end humanity or something.

Been saying this since Batman VS Supes first came out. Ben Afflecks Batman is the best Batman we've seen hands down. Nothing comes close. Christian Bale was great as Bruce but as Batman he's way too small to strike fear in anybody. The whole time I was watching Ben I was thinking "damn I don't want know smoke with this dude. This Batman look like he"ll break every bone in my body with his bare hands." Bales Batman never gave me that feeling. Just his cowl alone made his head bigger than the rest of his body. Just a big head being supported by a pencil neck lol

I still remember the backlash the community hurled when Affleck was announced as the next Batman. It was sad really. While I was not a fan of how Batman was depicted in Justice League, the brutality and savagery in which Affleck brought to Batman in this movie was the best, most intimidating characterization of Batman on any big screen. It was the Batman we've all been waiting for. Affleck was the best Batman imho. This was "Arkham" on the big screen. I hope it is one day replicated.

I thought it was a better movie than most people gave it credit for. It wasn't perfect, but I was entertained. Also, Ben's portrayal of Batman was surprisingly good. When I first heard he was going to play Batman, my expectations weren't high, but in the end he ended up playing my favorite version of him.

People hate Zack Snyder. Maybe not all of them, but not everyone wants to believe that he was the one who had revived DC itself. One idea of adding Batman into BvS, and BOOM! We already have SS, Wonder WOMAN and justice League. Without him, I'm sure it would just be reboots of Batman.

Anymation Dawn of Justice should've just been about Batman's conflict with Superman and Lex Luther's influence. But no they had to force in Wonder Woman, a terrible looking Doomsday and clips of the Justice League smh Also the Suicide Squad movie made no sense. You have Batman and the Justice League but yet you let the dangerous villains loose and out on the mission. Smh

Batfleck's Batman suit was MY FAVORITE BATMAN SUIT EVER shown (when he goes to save Martha) ... EVER. This suit was ... the best, and Ben himself WAS AND IS PERFECT BATMAN. Marvel got story on lockdown. Villains on point. And heroes with more reasonable and clear motivations. So snyder can't make up for his lack of storytelling ability with cool scenes and good suits.
