If you remember in the last Riddler episode you watched, I mentioned that the writer considered The Riddler to be the hardest character to write for in the entire show, because to write a genius character you need to have a genius writer. As a result, many Riddler scripts had been rejected for being too long or too silly. One of the unproduced Riddler episodes would have served as a direct follow up to "What Is Reality?," with Riddler still being in his coma from the preceding episode. It would have been revealed that Riddler was controlling the hospital staff around him and Batman himself via hypnosis to commit crimes while in his state of unconsciousness, though writer couldn't get the story to work.
After seeing Riddler in the thumbnail I knew I was going to feel stupid😵💫, or that the guy from before would be stressing in his apartment thinking Riddler was coming for him again🤣. I'm thinking we would have something simple like "what belongs to you but used by everyone else: your name🤯. Whole time he talking about constellations and chess pieces as if I'm a genius from Harvard, bro thinks he funny💀. Crazy how Batman got further in virtual reality in the past than us in the present, I know he got a multi-billion dollar company but the guys at Wayne Industries are on another wavelength💪😤. I was thinking that Riddler was going to escape again but we actually got him, bro's mind is trapped in cyberspace but a win is a win I guess😰. I know dude from before celebrating for real 😂
Saw the thumbnail, and you knew it was gonna be one of those types of episodes. Don't worry though I was right with you. These riddles were too much for me.😂 they had better technology in gotham 20 years ago than we got now. We really got to step it up.
This is how they'll thought the vr gaming in the 1990's looks like. And if you die in there, then you die in real life. In thw show could've happen to Gordon if not for Batman's rescue. And Riddler plays unfair, Batman does not cheat.
This episode has a quite enjoyable plot but but overall it is a bit of a mixed bag because the animation by AKOM is just so consistent. Luckily after this episode they only have one episode left that they worked on in the show.
This episode had some cool set pieces but generally it is considered to be the weakest Riddler episode. The the next riddler episode in season 3 is considered the best Riddler episode.
