Doesn’t matter anyways. Everything from Snyder was aweful besides wonderwoman and aquaman, and that’s probably because he had almost nothing to do with them lol.
This documentary made me appreciate the other batmobiles more. My personal favorite has always been the Tim Burton one. I never really like the other models that much but seeing how they work so hard and the motivation and respect they have for it made me really see those batmobile in a different and appreciative way. They all have their own unique way and style. 🦇🖤
Seeing all those cars together let’s me know for sure that we’re all just big kids at heart. Thank you to everyone ever involved with making these movies.
The newest Battison Batmobile is my favorite, followed by Burton, and then 60s. I don't like the others much at all. I love the Nolan movies, but the Tumbler was a disappointment for me. It felt more Delta Force than Batman.
I have to admit that after all these years, the original TV Batmobile is still my favorite. When I was a kid, every boy my age had that car in their toy collection. That was top of the heap.
I said to my 10 year old son when we'd watched batman, that I was a big batman fan and had a batmobile when I was a Kid, he then went out and bought me a Hotwheels original series Batmobile.... he's carried on doing that ever since , he is now 27, and I own 24 Hotwheels Batmobiles and their variants from the comics, films, animated series and games .... and he's still finding them, the latest one he gave me last week, is a " Batman the animated series" shadow model, in dark purple
I wasn't just crying for the children, I was also crying for family friends, co-workers, and family members I lost, it's a terrible thing to go through. Seeing all the cars brought a smile to my face I love all of them my favourite is Tim Burtons Batmobile, that's the one I saw when I was a kid.
Wow they could have just slapped together a quick documentary of a few cuts and interviews but they turned this into a beautiful piece. Props to all the people who put this together!
The little kids at the hospital looking so happy and in awe had me near tears. So incredible what an object from a movie can do for people. Truly inspiring man. I hope one day I get to create something that can do the same thing for similar children.
The sequence of all the Batmobiles together driving down the road in a line...….with the 1960's one at the front...…. is the most beautiful sight I have ever seen! It made me cry. I had forgotten how deep seated the Batman thing is within me. I hear you John Smith. Say it with me my brothers......'TO THE BATMOBILE!!!!!!!!'
This documentary brought tears. As a child, I watched 60s TV. My favorite one will always be the original, but I LOVE the Tumbler. I even met Adam years ago when my father introduced me to him. Dad was a friend of George's when Mr. Barris had built the #001 'Barrister' for him. RIP Adam, George, you are missed. I love 😘and miss you Dad.🥺😥
Boy, those last bits with those kids has tears running down my face. Bless them. Bless their wee souls. And the Keaton one is my favourite, but that seems like a shallow point now. Love as much as you can x
I've volunteered at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles dressed as Batman but to see the Tumbler pull up outside the hospital at the end was really beautiful.
To me, the best Batmobile ever is that of the 1960's TV series, originally aired when I was 8 years old. My dad gifted me a 1:24 diecast model by Matchbox. It also had Batman and Robin's figures attached to the car seats. Some years after, I noticed that the Batmobile actually was a 1955 Lincoln Futura prototype.
I had the corgi batmobile, it had removable Batman and Robin, fired missiles, had a saw blade that came out of the front grille and fire that went in and out as you pushed the vehicle, by far the 60s version is the best
I really do think that every cinematic version of the Batmobile perfectly capture its version of Batman. You give any of them one look and you can probably immediately tell which Batman it belongs to.
@@jasonwu9287 nolan batman is the fakest batman why df would drive a tank. Lol batflecks batmaovile is the most cb accurste or even realistic in a real world with superheroes df
I still believe that the best Batman quote is "When the mugger or the thief stops to think twice - that is fear. That is what I am. That is why they hired assassins. Because I am the reason criminals breathe easier when the sun rises."
Love this documentary. I applaud the end part where they took the Batmobile Tumbler to the Childrens hospital. To see those smiles on those kids brought tears. RIP Adam West & George Barris. Many thanks to all the creators of these amazing vehicles of joy.
@Jonathan Ramirez, dude, I know, right?! That Batmobile, and the Kevin Conroy Batman, are still, to this day, my number 1 combination across the board 😁👍.
Everyone else: Let's make a really cool prop car for our movie/TV show! Christopher Nolan: Let's build a tank car that can jump, drive fast and be virtually indestructible...from scratch.
I drew a cartoon once that had the TV version of the Batmobile with a small car next to it. The small car driver opening his door into the Batmobile making contact. Inside Batman and Robin were jumping out to beat up the guy for nicking their paint job.
The Keaton Batmobile, animated series Batmobile, The Arkham Knight video-game Batmobiles, and by far the Christian Bale Batmobile are my favorites....ESPECIALLY that Tumbler.
The end where they brought the Tumbler to the kids getting treatment at the cancer center had me in tears. I just finished radiation and chemo treatment myself. That guy was right. You want to find a way to show people who helped get you through treatment how much it meant to you
I highly recommend you look up healing with a fruit based diet and regenerative herbs like Robert Morse ND teaches. You have to address the cause of your illness if you want to heal and mainstream treatments often make things even worse.
@@Doood692 My mainstream treatment cured my cancer, thank you very much. Completely. No surgery was needed. Just because a treatment isn't "natural", doesn't mean it won't work.
Initially, I had always hated the Batman & Robin Batmobile. Now that I've seen this documentary, what an incredible looking machine! Looks better being showcased than in the actual film.
It is not a Batmobile, just a legotank. Burton's version is way more authentic, asthetic, atmospheric, and practical at the same time for fighting crime in a city and not the millitary in a desert... Batman and his vehicles must be symbols, Burton's version was a pure symbol.
To me it's all above "the system of disbelief" and Burton succeeded, but I think Nolan nailed it in my option💯. I can't say the same thing for Batman & Robin 🤮
The Tumblr sends a message that I cannot be messed with (would be helpful in Los Angeles traffic 😁. DC Comic’s Batman Curse of the White Knight pays homage to the 1989 Batmobile with Bruce Wayne saying it was always his favorite.
@@fredricklee I actually don't like the idea that all of them are individual pieces of canon. If they are symbols then they are technically always the same thing.
The Batmobile is a truly marvelous vehicle in comic book, movie and TV history . No other car could match its capabilities. An amazing legendary car ! I still love the George Barris '66 classic !
I mean, come on, seriously, who are the people who hit the dislike on this? What's the point? If you don't like Batmobiles, why are you watching the documentary? If you do like Batmobiles, what else did you want? Seriously!?!
I think Batman would probably go for the BvS batmobile. It's still heavy duty but bulkiness is reduced quite abit. In terms of the actual movies, I felt the cars were mismatched.
I think it depends on which car was the Batmobile when you were a kid. Although I do love the Tim Burton version 'and' the BvS version, I don't think either can touch the 1960s TV version by George Barris. That Ford Lincoln Futura customization, inspired a generation and I believe, was what really brought Batman to the attention of the world. Without that car, I believe it's possible nobody would still be talking about Batman outside of comic books.
the only person that knows what he would prefer is Batman himself. you tripping. and really if we are to be logical it all depends on what era and what batman.
@@lowlowseesee since Batman is not real we can only speculate. Based on the type of situations he regularly faces, he would any day prefer substance over style.
Something about the tumbler blew me a way such a unique take that just made it such a badass vehicle but I really like what they did with the bvs batmobile and Matt reeves Batman batmobile
Nolans batmobile is more like a fast tank it's feels heavy but tim burtons is more sleek and compact and looks legit....also I love battfleck batmobile
Fantastic documentry, fiction to reality and back! Loved the research and assembly. I don't think I've ever seen such a powerful documentry on myth, and one that strides within our lifetime. Thanks so much for your passions and work.
I highly recommend the WB studios tour if you’re ever in Hollywood! Getting to see all these amazing machines together under one roof was awe inspiring. 🦇🖤
Man me too. When I thought about it how many of those little angels never got to leave that hospital I lost it. I'm so glad they were able to experience that. And so many had Batman toys or clothes on its just shows the impact this franchise has on us.
They're all incredible, in their own way. But for sheer sleekness, I'd go with Burton's Batmobile. Nolan's 'Tumbler' is a tank, a war machine, and while it's not beautiful, it's effective. Special shoutout to George Barris' creation. That made my childhood fun.
Yes because Nolan wanted to make sure that was practical and real as possible. Tim Burtons car its amazing by design but the Tumbler it's the most capable and realistic.
Anytime that there are these magic moments for sick children, it always puts a tear in my eye. Children are not meant to be sick, and these magic moments do help with the healing process.
@@christophestevenson1448 So true! But those are tears of joy. If i would be in shape for being in costume under a mask... i would go anywhere for those kids! It makes my heart feel wholesome. Just seeing their joy in times of being ill or maybe close to death... if it makes their way better i'm all in!
The BvS one, really?? First: It looks like a shapeless mess on screen, and second: Its nearly identical to the batmobile in the Arkham video game series :S:S
@@frostbitepokin9520 No, the Arkham ones look much better (imo). Just compare: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71Eil6SCY7L._AC_SX679_.jpg images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/410jkSdCl0L._AC_.jpg
My "Batmobile" was my 1999 black Camaro, with dark tint glass T-Tops. From the outside, they match the gloss black paint, but inside, you look up and see the sky... chicks always loved that... chicks dig the car...
This was amazing, I truly enjoyed this. I was on the WB lot, for a tour, before I moved from California and we heard this incredible noise and felt a rumbling and it was the Tumbler driving around the lot. It was unbelievable to see it up close
The tumbler's still my favourite. Wonder how the batmobile in the coming Batman movie would rank... Those moments spent with the kids at the end, beautiful. Great documentary, reminded me of how much of a batman fanboy I still am. Thanks to the makers.
Its Adam West and Burt Ward for me ! along with the Batmobile. Cant beat the 60's . It may have been camp, But what did we kids know ?. We just loved it. Adam West- R I P.
I think the Batmobile from "Batman forever" is really underrated (just like the movie as a whole ) it's animilastic Bat like features look beautiful . "Batman and Robin" Batmobile on the other hand was just too over the top .(seriously Bat trails? Don't you think Batman leaving a trail would be .... questionable)
totally! on both fronts, movie and vehicle! '84 kid who loved obviously burtons but man I loved Forevers' too! that spinal mid section type with the epic wings!!! it was plenty dark twisted and wierd which too me is always suitable in the DC universe🙏🔥🦾🚨
Excellent documentary! Really enjoyed this in depth look into all the batmobiles. Really sad I wasn't at the event when they brought them all together...
