Jokes aside i think the joke here is that without tye batman there is no fun or joke to joker's crimes...without batman joker has no reason to keep being the joker and without batman... there is nothing funny about this man, he just a sad man who the world left behind. I’m not even a DC or a Batman fan… and I feel bad for everyone who is because Joker was done dirty in this 2nd movie? Especially after how good the first movie was in terms of making a believable origin for the Joker, who maybe could evolve into more of a clown prince of crime persona (Arthur wasn’t all that intelligent, but he was still a rookie Joker at the end of the first movie) to know that they regressed Arthur back into a depressed sad guy simping for a manipulative pathological liar and a man imagining WAY too many musical numbers, you start to wonder if Todd Phillips tanked this movie on purpose so WB would never ask him to make a 3rd movie.
