I’m so happy to see this book has been released. I wish Judd Winick would get the omnibus treatment for his Green Lantern, Outsiders and Green Arrow runs.
Love these overviews. Just got mine last week as a first time shopper of Cheap Graphic Novels and notified them that you brought me to their store. Thanks for overview and the discount Omar!
Man id almost be envious of someone who gets to read this all blind and unspoiled, I think I learned about the big reveal before I even really knew the characters
I got deluxe book this week at my local comic books shop. I had trade papers back in the past and story was not complete in that book. Where with the deluxe book you got complete story and I am well happy with it. It like when a movie director added some extra footage in the film and you watch the film again and you notice there some scenes in the film that you did not see before. It like the director cut of a film. The deluxe book felt like that. I had to get Death in The Family Deluxe book next and re read those stories again. Brilliant review Omar 🦹♂️🦇📚👍
We need lots more Judd winnick … would love an omnibus but I’ll even take a compendium - Batman - outsides - lantern - green arrow - I’ll take anything
Saw the film a million times as a kid (I consider myself not a child since I turned thirteen three years ago) and as far as I can see, this is under my radar.
I feel like DC should make a Judd Winick omnibus and add in As the crow flies storyline, it's only been collected once, and it would feel the gap nicely
Mine's on the way! Hope this does really well so we can get some Judd Winick Outsiders and Green Arrow omnis. Honestly I wouldn't mind an omni of his Green Lantern run either. One of DC's most underrated writers over the past 20 years or so.
@Kor33Com it is sewn binding. When Omar is holding the spread page apart at the end of the video you can visibly see where the pages have been sewn together
I got this one even though I've actually never read it, lol. Also, Jim Aparo wasn't exactly "my" Batman artist when I was a kid, but he's become one of my favorites now that I own several Batman collected editions.
@@Robd07 That's cool, I was just kinda out of comics at the time because I was in high school when the Red Hood was introduced. I thought comics were "uncool", I guess.
Will you be doing an overview of Batman & Robin Eternal omni? Any idea when we can expect it? Just asking cause i will def grab Under the Red Hood + Deadly Duo, but undecided on B+R Eternal, and was thinking of waiting to get them all in one big order from CGN..
I confess, I was one who paid to call the 900 number and vote for the death of Jason Todd. I felt no regrets about that decision until I read this story. Despite owning the two original trades, I will probably pick this up for the Lost Days story, which surprisingly I have never read.
Just reas the book. Very nice read but I am bit confused to what comes next. First half of the book works itself to a climax where Bruce has to make a decision and then the story goes back in time, never revealing the consequences of his decision? We have to read One Year later to deduce what happened?? That kinda sucks.
Ik I been reading these comics for free online. But I really wish to buy comics. Mainly batman. So I can easily read em when I feel like I am bored or something.
