Will this machine be good for a total beginner? I have a brand new corolla and want to keep the paint good. Was looking at this on amazon here in canada. I dont have access to power in my condo garage so cordless is my only choice.
Yeah absolutely, I would purchase some soft pads to go along with it as the pads are all medium, but the buffing pads would be perfect for keeping on top of paint maintenance! Let me know how you get on!
Hi I've just got this for Christmas could you please help with the orange pads are they both for cutting compounds and normal polish please and I take it that the white pad is just a buffing pad thank you very much
Hay, thanks for the watch. They are for both but are a coarser pad, so I would use them for the cutting g rather than the finishing. You could use the white and green covers for the polish side of things? Hope this helps.
The polisher looks quite light weight which makes a great change for these wireless DA’s. Also seems to provide good amount of info on that little screen. Good work guys!
@usuallybrokencars I've got an offer waiting on a dewalt.... if that don't go through might buy this and see if the batteries work... seems a good machine.. only issue is the battery placement if they had just turned it 90 degrees would of been a no brainer! Good review :)
I recently purchased one of the polishers you recommended, but I've yet to actually use it for its intended purpose. Straight out of the box, the noise it produced was shockingly loud, akin to the sounds of an ancient tractor, which was starkly different from the much quieter operation depicted in your video. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed to find that the polishing head seemed disproportionately small for use on an SUV, contrary to what I had anticipated.
