Built a couple of these using the pelican type boxes from Harbor Freight.....Apache Boxes. Didnt put a rigrunner type supply on the exterior, but on the end of the box have 4 powerpole connectors and a usb with volt meter. Then master switch. One of the powerpoles are direct connect to battery (as opposed to being ran through the master switch and common ground etc) and has an inline fuse of its own. That was so that I could easily plug it in for charging or solar power feed. I just used a quality 35ah sealed lead acid glass mat type (I think it was). Heavier weight batter than the LifePo4/Bioenno type, but was much less expensive. I ended up buying an interstate brand, but not online as many of those have had a long shelf life. The local interstate stores have much shorter shelf life. I dont have any pics of the batter box itself on my QRZ, but I do have some pics of a "go box" that has its own built in battery (as well as built in power supply in the event that I have access to AC). Fun projects.
