This is a very good idea for a battery compartment. Have you noticed any significant temp change in the living space since heat is now dissipated into the back?
thanks. No, there isn't any measurable temp difference in the living space. even before the fans, any temp accumulated in the battery compartment got dissipated into the living space, it just happened a little slower. Also, while driving, the van's AC can easily cool down any additional 'quick release' heat from the batteries. and while parked (in the sun, which is almost always the case for me), the van gets hot no matter what :-)
