FANTASTIC cover, the synths especially go so hard and exceed expectations in doing these tracks justice. i'm so glad you did this! and anyone reading this, go check out CrossCode. really cool, great story, AMAZING ost, and awesome characters, especially the girl who became one of my favorite protagonists of all time. you too will become endeared by the word "Hi!" (and if you ever wanna do more CrossCode songs, how about the theme of "best character in the game" Shizuka?)

This is really nice; in the actual game, once you start getting stronger & stuff dies fast, it can sometimes be hard to stay in battle long enough to hear the battle themes in full.😂❤

As someone who recently streamed CrossCode, playing it for the first time ever, HOO BOY did seeing this thumbnail pop up in my feed make me excited lmao. CrossCode's battle theme is forever burned into my brain now and _thank you so much_ for starting with it first and THEN going into the S-Rank theme 'cause goddamn, one is not complete without the other. For how simple CrossCode's combat is, there's a weird, fun satisfaction to holding onto that S-rank and just, going to town, obliterating enemies for as long as you can. The music certainly helps, and absolutely sells it lol. "How about a little live and let live, Lea?!" SmugLea.

As someone who supported this game during early development (not just financially, I also volunteered a lot of time as a Twitch moderator for the Sunday live streams, before they joined a publisher and one of THEIR guys took over.) this warms my heart. It's so great to see people appreciate a game I hold so dearly. Will we be hearing more CrossCode remixes from you? *carefully optimistic*

I’ve been recommending the game to GaMetal for YEARS and its finally in. Though I wanted One Last Trial, I’m just glad the game got in itself, deserves a spotlight.

@@MusicHaven1636 Nominations on my cards also include "Raid", "Infiltration", and "Sapphire Ridge". But damn, Denis Akbulut (the original composer) and HAGANE / Keisuke Hayase (who composed the music for "One Step From Eden" and was also a guest composer for CrossCode) really set the bars high when it came to their music. The latter gets special mention for composing "One Last Trial" in such a way that it leads off from "Mysterious Place" before saying, "You have braved many challenges, but can you face the gods?" That's how it feels.

Awesome cover dude. Crosscode is such a hidden gem. The story, graphics, the platforming and puzzles, how damn fun the combat is, all the pop culture references. I've got well over 100 hours in it and it was well spent.

It is hands down one of the most awesome action rpgs ever to come out. If this came out in the 90's to early 2000's everyone would be hailing it as an eternal classic!

I'm just here to say that CrossCode is one of the best games I have EVER PLAYED in my LONG history as a gamer. I've played literally thousands and thousands of games, and CrossCode is one of the VERY FEW (like, single digit numbers) that I would give a perfect score of 10/10 to. Also, this remix is awesome and I would love to hear more coverage!

I could tell from the outset that this would be a banger clanging around in my head for weeks, and the rest did not disappoint. Unfortunately between the simplistic track title and the fact that I really don't know enough about CrossCode, I don't have a clever way to phrase my request for Faith Is For The Transient People this time. HI?!?! I was NOT expecting this holy crap! I’ve been replaying CrossCode right now and I went “hmmm I feel like seeing what Gametal has been up to” and boom, it’s the battle theme that refuses to leave my brain after how long I’ve spent listening to it (especially after I went on an hour-long combat streak on Bergen Trail). This is a fantastic spin on it, and I love that this is how I find out this game might be slightly more well known than I thought it was. Anyways, thank you for doing a song from one of my favorite games of all time! I’d love to see one or more of the boss themes from this game if possible, because they’re all bangers

FINALLY! I WAITED AND WANTED CROSSCODE IN FOR YEARS AND BEEN CONSISTENTLY RECOMMENDING IT! Thank you SO much! OHHHH I wish theres One Last Trial OST though but I’ll take it! Recommend to those that doesnt know the game, challenging but has good plot. Edit: Already been replaying the S Rank part alot, for some reason I’ve been jamming ALOT into it, beautifully made Jonny, beautifully made.

Definitely a banger rendition of Crosscode's battle music and S-Rank Battle music. I really like how post-launch, they updated the game and added the S-Rank Battle music alongside visual and mechanical changes. It made S-rank go from just a thing you were doing sometimes and nothing special to "GET HYPED AND NEVER STOP!" while making enemies respawn much faster, thus making grinding a lot more exciting and less tedious. Sorry, Emilie.

No mercy for you, Emille. Sometimes, in the thick of combat, you have to get over your fears.😆 And yes, that S-Rank music just invokes *Overdrive Mode* in my gameplay in a heartbeat. Almost as if I become faster, stronger, and more aggressive with my attacks when it comes on.
