For me, this is the best version of Battle against a True Hero, with the main theme feeling determined, but the trumpets sounding so dower, almost like at this part of the song Undyne is losing.
I have a theory that came to my mind now that I am listening to Battle Against a True Hero and the Power of NEO together: Alphy's tribute to Undyne was to put a similar melody to her's in the Mettaton's genocide battle
@@2_OP but mettaton lied about that, didn't he? There's lots of hints that imply that his first forms were both MTT box and MTT EX, and his NEO body has never been planned from the beginning (or at least they have never planned it *thoroughly*) In Genocide route Alphys just had to think of something fast to stop the human so she just rebuilt Mettaton's EX body(sacrificing his defense) for him to be more intimidating to scare the human and prevent them from going forward. I even think that MTT suggested that to her himself. He knew that he was going to die, so he at least wanted to try and be heroic about it
The box form is MTT's original form, with MTT NEO being the second form. In Neutral/Pacifist, Alphys tones down MTT NEO because she doesnt want mettaton to hurt you. Ex form was created to replace the NEO form because NEO was too dangerous.
These 3 are pretty good remixes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0pbMgLGOYFU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3MPQyr_zK38.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uI0CxTgpA6Q.html (And I guess now we got BIG SHOT)
I can feel the wind rushing as I listen to True Hero. Listen to the bass: while the strings are flying, they be GROOVIN.' Then NEO comes and it's the ultimate head banger, all in quick buildup to...
Imagine: You killed Undyne in one hit, you're already turning around to leave, and you hear 0:00. Goosebumps from surprise, the body froze. And after 5 seconds, a spear flies at you, and the cave is illuminated by the light from the eye of the Undying Undyne.
Yes.I tried making a fangame once where you would fight Monika from DDLC and maybe the other characters. But since I am no sprite artist and no music creator I abandoned the project. Nobody would have played it anyways
I love this version of "Battle Against a True Hero", It makes her battle feel epic but desperate at the same time. She's not afraid of Chara, but her fear is for the rest of the world. She knows she's on a time limit after she reformed, and is desperate to take Chara down before it expires so that the world would be safe. She tried so hard, but it was all for not. Chara has the power to rewind time to a point before death and they learned her attacks. In the end Chara exploited her desperation and tuckered her out then finished her off. Mettaton NEO's fight was just down right one sided. He made a major miscalculation that caused him to throw away his own life for nothing.. His NEO body was too flimsy after Alphys had started his downgrades, and he also didn't realize his weapon was non-functional. As His box body was unchanged and far sturdier, he should have just stayed in that form as it offered him the most protection.
The entire point is that he's trying to slow you down instead of attacking you. - even WITH the lack of knowledge of his low defence, he doesn't attack you. Only tries to give everyone the time they need to evacuate, as well as an absolutely glamourous final show. He knows that in the box form you likely still would have been able to kill him, and turns into NEO in order to at least die in his preferred form.
@@OlTimeyChara it stopped being Frisk after the genocide run is started. After cutting down Toriel, Chara has been the one controlling Frisk's body to initiate the boss fights. The only fights Chara didnt initiate are Toriel, and Sans' fights.
@@kratkartan1486 Actually no, it's Frisk themself that's committing genocide not Chara. Chara just appears at the end because of the amount of monsters Frisk had killed resurrected them from their death so Chara didn't possess Frisk. And even if Chara did possess Frisk they wouldn't have killed all the monsters because Chara hates humans and loves monsters.
It gives me the image of the troops standing on the Walls of Helm’s Deep, backed in a corner, waiting for the onslaught of dark forces, ready to defend
