LOL: I love how everyone else uses fancy martial arts and weapons, while Vermillion, just sticks to good old-fashioned guns! I've never played this particular "Toshinden" before, but these supers looks cool.
Miyabi: Summoning a Meteor from space as a Ninja before it was cool! Also weird how every single Character is left handed, INCLUDING EIJI who was right handed in the older games! And yes, Subaru seems to have a right handed stance at first glance, but everytime he attacks with his sword only using one hand he holds it left!
I can actually answer that one for you: Kenjutsu is typically taught two handed, right hand dominant with right hand is essentially used as a guide and the left hand used to generate the power. Also Puella is right handed. If she was left, the bow would be in her right hand ala Uryu Ishida from Bleach and she'd draw with the left. Hope that helps.
@MrJinhoX When your health is flashing red/around 25% left or in Kishin Kourin mode(shown in the video) press forward, back, forward + High Slash(or High Kick for Lancelot, Eos and Vermilion). You can also use the shortcut which is back + R1 + R2.
Yes you can, as long as you have full super gauge and activate by pressing all four face buttons. In the Kishin Kourin minigame both characters activate KK at the start of the match.
I'll never understand how the BAT games looked worse as the series continued. The only redeeming qualities are the earlier characters (despite being cardboard cutouts) and music.

I really liked the battle system, and the special attacks had awesome animations. Sadly, the horrible loading times and small character pool killed it. BAT3 will always be the best one.

Battle Arena Toshinden 4 fué una total y completa desilusión digo, en vez de reciclar y mejorar el gameplay de Battle Arena Toshinden 3, hicieron un remake del primer Battle Arena Toshinden, en que cabeza🙄
I've never played BAT 3. I've only played BAT 4, but I watched the whole BAT 3 super and secret moves compilation. In WHAT WORLD can anyone think BAT 3 has better animation or moves overall? BAT 4 >>>>>>>>>> BAT 3
Anyone who's actually PLAYED both games, lmao. BAT 3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>BAT4 man. It was a lot faster, smoother, and had way more characters to play as. BAT4 was a downgrade across the board. The only thing "better"about it is that it had more fancy over the top supers.
@@RenanMeloC Yea right man, there's a reason BAT4 didn't even get released in North America. The game is terrible, easily the worst game in the series. You've literally never even PLAYED BAT3 so how can you properly judge which is better without extreme bias?? Lol
I think most look fine, I prefer the aesthetics of the previous game's 3D models. But yeah regarding Puella I was surprised when I first saw her 3D Model, she looks... way off when compared to her 2D look.
Well, sadly, the Toshinden games just looks like they got worse and worse. I like the Original BAT and I'm going to get BAT2, but for what i've seen on youtube I don't think I even bother getting the third and fourth installment... :(
Play the japanese version, toshinden subaru. The reason the game is so slow is because its the PAL version. All games in ps1 and ps2 in PAL version are slow. Even tekken 3. Not joking.
When your super gauge has max 3 bars and timer hasn't reached 10 seconds left, press all four face buttons (square,x,triangle and circle) to activate Kishin Kourin.
