Y'know, compared to some other shmups I've seen on this channel, this one doesn't seem to have bosses that are damage sponges for no other reason than to prolong the fight if there are two players. And heck, if the boss does have more "life", it's because it has more varied phases, kudos to the developers. Edit: Also, am I the only one that's reminded of the VF-19 from Macross with the final boss?
@@Meta7 True, but at the same time I feel like its varied patterns mitigate it a bit. I mean, if it endlessly shot the same pattern of bullets it would either get boring soon, or it would be a matter of time before the player's focus wavered and ended up losing a life out of sheer tedium.
I agree, kudos to the developers, this game is an absolute blast to play, the songs are absolute bangers and the bosses have so much variety and life in them, many phases, special attacks, hidden surprises and they all come with their own special attack patterns, and custom bullet hells, and I also love the story of the game itself and the design of each boss! It’s so amazing!
2:15 But I have to say that the Bahamut is my favorite boss, I like a boss that sends out stationary sentry enemies to be an annoyance to the player and give you even more of a challenge! It may be small and fast, but it’s stronger in numbers!

This game looks neat! Final boss seems kinda generic though, less interesting than some of the other bosses. I think if I had played this blind, I would be all like 'alright, time for the next stage...wait, that was the final boss?"
