Got to be Battle Beast Noora's voice is just amazing and she's Hot.

Vocally its gotta be Battle Beast, but Sabaton just bring that different, sheer powerful energy with their instrumentals. I feel its similar to the 82nd all the way video, that the topic is suited to one band over the other, so vocally and stylistically its likely theirs that's better (Sabaton in that case) but Amaranthe's was awesome in its own way! In this case, the fantasy topic suits Battle Beast far more in general, but Sabaton still produced an awesome song!

I've been a fan of Sabaton since 2018 and call me bias if you want but when you play the Sabaton songs over a battle scene from a movie There's more glory that fuels you with tears via Joakims orgasmic voice. The part where it quiets down after the guitar solo with the guitar, the drums and joakim singing softly and then it gets loud again. There is GLORY in this godly child's voice!

I pretty much agree with both your sentiments. Its hard to objectively say which is better because vocally I'd for sure go with Noora, whilst at the same time Sabaton version definitely has better instrumental production. Peoples preference will probably vary based on which of those elements they personally prioritise or which version they heard first. It makes perfect sense regarding production quality. At the time BB were a very small band, and if I recall they decided to produce the 2nd album themselves, the first time they produced anything. I think the rational was that they felt they didn't quite achieve the sound they wanted on the first album which was done by a more established producer external to the band. In 2012, the first singer leaves the band with no warning for ‘personal reasons’, yet the band were already booked to start a tour in a matter of weeks opening for Sonata Artica. Even the label didn’t know they didn’t have a singer. They desperately searched for a new singer and came across a clip of Noora in their youtube recommendations list. They secretly went to see her doing a solo gig at a local pub, having been impressed, they asked her to join the band the next day. Noora had never sung heavy metal up to that point but wanting a new vocal challenge accepted and joined the band. Immediately, she had to learn all the songs from the first album for the tour in weeks, in addition, they were already working on album 2 so Noora also had to learn and record vocals for that at the same time. This hectic rush is likely why the production of the record is not as good as it could have been, but that’s just how it is sometimes. It affected the initial live performances too. If you look back at some of the first tours in 2012 - early 2013 where Noora had to sing songs from album 1, its apparent Noora wasn’t quite at the standard that we know today. She seemed to be struggling, and this lead initial fans to believe that Noora was a downgrade and made comments about how they ‘missed the first singer’ etc. However, when you understand the context of singing songs initially written for someone else’s voice, plus a lack of practice time, this was really why the first concerts were difficult. Come 2013, the second album releases and they have had about 1 year together on tour. Noora from 2013 - 2014 is suddenly a lot better and more like we know her today, but this is likely simply due to having 1 year of practice and moulding the album 1 songs to fit her voice. All of a sudden, most of the comments missing the first singer disappear almost overnight. More people than ever discover BB and realise how much ass they kick. The second album is a big breakthrough for the band and is where a majority of the powermetal fans, including myself, discovered the band. About this time, they join Sabaton on tour as the opening band. The guys in Sabaton really like Battle Beast, they are one of their favourite new bands and they apparently do a lot to help promote newer bands. Thus, they put the cover of Battle Beast song ‘Out of Control’ on one of their albums, specifically to help get more exposure for Battle Beast. So in the end it’s not about if one prefers the Sabaton version or the Original version, its about discovering cool new bands and music.

In 2014, I saw Sabaton open for Iced Earth. Floor's band ReVamp was also on the bill, and I was told by the owner of the Michigan Military Heritage Museum, who is friends with Sabaton and was backstage at that same show...that it was backstage at that show where Sabatons drummer proposed to Floor :)

Sabaton killed the music side in this version. But the vocals seem to fit better with Battle Beast. Its a toss up for me. On the whole, i enjoyed Sabaton's more. But im more of a fan of theirs anyway. Both were good.

Battle Beast is amazing. I saw them live as one of the opening bands for Kamelot in 2019 and their lead singer has an amazing stage presence. so much energy

Sabaton for me 100%. I just don’t think Joakim’s voice is beatable. Battle Beast are amazing as well though. Pär and Joakim talk about the reasons for covering this song in an interview: they liked Battle Beast, had them as a support band a few times (as well as a surprise guest band in their Sabaton Cruise), and essentially covered the song knowing that as the bigger band by doing so they were likely helping introduce Battle Beast to a wider audience.

What about doing 'Attack of the Dead Men' from Sabaton and then the Russian version from Radio Tapok?

now we need beast in black version of it, there might be live one since BiB played Anton's Battle beast material on their gigs before releasing Berserker but i want official studio version to see nicely how Yannis compares to Noora and Joakim

I suppose the confusion on who's original artist is partly because Sabaton could definitely make a song titled that way, as well as Sabaton having a song called Back in Control on their 2006 album.

Yes they have toured together. First time in 2013 at Sabaton Cruise and I remember Joakim said he heard them play Out of Control live and thought it sounds like a Sabaton song so they asked if they can cover it. BB also was supporting Sabaton on Heroes tour 2015 so it's very possible Noora joined the stage with Joakim at some point.

1st time hearing Sabaton's version. I think their instrumentals come more heavy, there is more inspiring power metal in Battle Beast's instruments. I guess it is how one has used to hearing it, but I do like BB's chorus more, it comes louder and has more punch. Personal preference if one likes more it sung by a woman or a man. I'm fan of Noora's and she sounds quite menacing in this, but Sabaton did a good version too.

Everyone: -Noora's voice is better than Joakim's voice -No Joakim's voice is better. Me: Holy shit Tommy Johansson at the end has the best voice.

Battle beast all the way! The amount of heaviness for the song is perfect. It's not just the powerful Noora but the exact riff weight that needs is spot on.

I'm with Michael here, Noora is a much better vocalist in my opinion and Sabaton don't really bring anything new to the table that sounds better in my ears.

I am sticking with battle beast! I almost want to give it to Sabaton because of the guitars! The guitars are much better in Sabaton than in battle beast! I am just a fan of Noora Lohouhimo! I have not heard the Sabaton version only the battle beast version before this video!

Noora from Battle Beast and Marta Gabriel are my favorite female singers. I really dislike the opera-voiced female singers. It was fine when Nightwish first came out but then many began adopting that and it started becoming annoying. Noora can sound so raunchy and violent. I think she is the closest it gets to Eric Adams when it comes to versatility. Marta Gabriel has to work on her English though because her pronunciation becomes a distraction unfortunately.

I think this is not a battle, Sabaton have 0 chances, Battle Beast win 1000 times, is the style of the song don't fit on the way of Sabaton sing. On any case I saw Battle Beast before than Sabaton, I remember Meet this band on 2012 they open the concert to Sonata Arctica on 2012, since there I'm following the band, always remember the open, when Noora Jump to to stage from no where and screaming with Justice and Metal was a perfect Birthday.

Noora destroys Joakim, there is no comparison.
